It's not awful but... The fact it's horizontal scrolling is just such a big con to this game. Also, the added 'combos' you need to somehow weave in just doesn't work.
NEEDS vertical charts but fun when you get into it game advertises custom songs but i havent been able to find any on youtube or anywhere so probably wouldnt buy it for just that aspect alone special moves besides ultras are pretty simple to input on controller but i always forget its a thing so i end up just playing the notes until i remember oh yeah theres specials

Absolutely recommend switching your monitor to portrait flipped on keyboard. The base mechanics of how they handle fighting and playing a rythm game at the same time is super fun just sucks that there is no verticle mode. like A LOT. I missed the cool visuals so I could beat an arcade run

need to change to vertical I'm waited since the game release and it's not happening until its sale. when I saw the gameplay what make you think it's the good idea for Rhythm game that use horizontal your're not making taiko game which is have 2 buttons.
Defiantly not the worst game I've played but there are quite a few reasons i didn't enjoy it that much. Sure it was fun to learn and play, but that was for the first 10 minutes, then it starts to feel like a task. There isn't many animations to the characters what means little pizzazz, the character models on the other hand are great I'd just like to see a little more action. The stories for the characters seemed dull and dry, it had the same format as the stories MK had with all the different characters (Start story, Fight through the different characters, End story) but even MK did a better job at drawing you into the character themselves. The endings are the worse part, you get a single picture with what they truly wanted and that's it, no WHAM!!! there it is, or KAAZZOWW!!!! your wish is granted. It felt like i worked on something with little to no reward. There is also the fact that the boss that you fight is also dull, he says the same thing when you get to him every time and it's just not entertaining, sure hes huge compared to you, but i think they spent too much time on God of Rock rather than the game itself.
YO this game is the worst dont walk run away from this game the rhythm is horizontal and not vertical. 4 lanes absolute horrid. no convert to keyboard settings. theres other controls besides the the rhythm to fight. I don't understand how you are supposed to focus on the rhythm when there is other controls. But if it was 1 other key u had to press id be fine. BUT 8 OTHER KEYS IS INSANE.
Good game if the Multiplayer would work. 30€ for a game that have an not working multiplayer is ridiculous.
喜欢格斗游戏的和喜欢音乐游戏的都愣住了，这是格斗游戏和音乐游戏相结合，手柄或者键盘并不是最佳控制器，最方便的是按钮能够分布在一排的手台，能够看得更轻松一些，用初音未来手台就很好，如果你有iidx或sdvx的手台的话那就更牛逼了，当然没那个必要~
