GoBlaster

GoBlaster is a 2D retro style bullet hell shoot 'em up put together with the mediocre Godot game engine. It looks like this was made by copying one of the numerous "how to make a shoot em up with Godot" tutorials online and changing a few things around. Usually this kind of thing is done as a cash grab but the developer made the noble choice to release this for free on Steam. It's fairly well polished. Resolution is locked and the art assets are mediocre but serviceable. If this game was released in the late 1980's it would have done fairly well. Of course, it's 2021, so old/dead game formats are hard to recommend. Hopefully the developer has gone on to bigger and better things, as some aspects of the game show professionalism.

Игра GoBlaster - достаточно простая, но увлекательная аркадная гонка. Красочная графика и динамичный геймплей затягивают с первых минут. Управление интуитивно понятное, что позволяет быстро освоиться даже новичкам. Разнообразие трасс и автомобилей добавляет реиграбельности, заставляя возвращаться снова и снова. Несмотря на свою простоту, игра требует определенной стратегии и точности. Необходимо умело использовать бонусы и маневрировать между препятствиями, чтобы прийти к финишу первым. Порадовала возможность кастомизации автомобилей, хотя выбор не самый широкий. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую однообразность в музыкальном сопровождении и периодически всплывающую рекламу (хотя ее можно убрать платно). В целом, GoBlaster - отличный вариант для коротких игровых сессий, когда хочется просто расслабиться и получить удовольствие от динамичной гонки. Рекомендую!
