Glitchangels

The game has some interesting ideas, but it does not come together to create a very interesting or fun game. -The corridor map generation and line of sight mechanic is just awkward and doesn't fit the genre this game is trying to fit in at all. All it leads to is awkward down time while trying to track down the enemy's remaining on the map. It also removes all sense of urgency when you can just stand back and slowly kite and clear every stage with little threat. -the death/rewind mechanic is an interesting gimmick, but again it doesn't fit this style of game and just creates an awkward pause in the gameplay without much benefit. -The game progression/difficulty is insanely slow. It might get interesting later on, but 30 minutes in and it felt like I was still in the tutorial. -visual clarity is extremely bad as soon as the game gets even slightly action packed, I can't imagine how bad it might get later on. This is a combination of many small things including color pallete, background graphics (the floor), particle effects, camera movement, etc. ---------------------------------- There are many many twin stick arcade type games on the market I would recommend over this. Just to name a few... Geometry Wars 3 Enter the Gungeon Monolith
