Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really fun and surprisingly addictive brick breaker. The gameplay feels good, but with some issues here and there. The power-ups keep things interesting, and the level variety makes it easy to keep playing “just one more round”. Definitely worth checking out if you like arkanoid games.
For when you want to game but only have the effort in you to waggle your hand side to side.
YOU are afun of ARKANOID? YES ITS A NICE GAME
Glaive: Brick Breaker is a modern reinterpretation of the classic brick-breaking formula, developed and published by Blue Sunset Games, that sets out to blend old-school arcade sensibilities with contemporary 3D presentation and expanded content. At its heart, the game is deeply rooted in nostalgia, drawing clear inspiration from legendary titles like Breakout and Arkanoid, but it also attempts to stand on its own by offering a large volume of stages, multiple game modes, and visual flair that goes beyond the flat, minimalist look traditionally associated with the genre. The result is an experience that feels familiar from the first bounce of the ball, yet layered with enough variations to sustain interest over extended play. The core gameplay loop remains reassuringly straightforward. Players control the titular Glaive, a paddle-like craft positioned at the bottom of the screen, using it to deflect a ball upward into formations of bricks that must be destroyed to clear each stage. Precision, timing, and anticipation are the central skills required, and the learning curve is gentle enough that newcomers can immediately grasp what is expected of them. As stages progress, brick layouts grow more intricate, incorporating moving elements, tougher materials, and environmental obstacles that demand sharper reactions and better positioning. This gradual escalation mirrors the structure of classic arcade difficulty, where mastery comes not from complex mechanics but from refined control and focus. Where Glaive: Brick Breaker distinguishes itself is in the sheer breadth of content on offer. With hundreds of levels spread across multiple modes, the game rarely runs out of challenges to present. Beyond the standard arcade progression, players can engage with alternative rule sets that remix the familiar formula, including modes that echo Pong-style competition, shape-based challenges, and dedicated boss encounters that require breaking weak points while dodging unique attack patterns. These variations help prevent the experience from becoming entirely monotonous, even though the fundamental act of bouncing a ball remains constant throughout. Power-ups play a significant role in shaping moment-to-moment gameplay. As bricks shatter, they often release upgrades that can radically alter the flow of a stage, such as expanding or shrinking the paddle, multiplying the ball, adding explosive effects, or equipping the Glaive with rockets and other offensive tools. These moments inject bursts of chaos and excitement, forcing players to adapt quickly to sudden changes in speed and screen clutter. While these power-ups can make some sections feel easier or more spectacular, they also introduce risk, as managing multiple balls or unpredictable trajectories can just as easily lead to failure if handled poorly. Visually, the game opts for a colorful 3D presentation that gives each level a distinct sense of space and depth. Environments range from clean, abstract arenas to themed backdrops that evoke icy landscapes, wooden surfaces, or futuristic settings. This approach modernizes the genre and makes individual stages more visually engaging, though it can occasionally feel busy during later levels when effects, particles, and power-ups crowd the screen. The soundtrack complements this arcade energy with upbeat electronic tracks that keep momentum high, reinforcing the sense that the game is designed for focused, score-chasing sessions rather than quiet, contemplative play. Additional features extend the game’s appeal beyond solo progression. A local versus mode allows two players to compete directly, turning the brick-breaking mechanics into a fast-paced duel that emphasizes reflexes and disruption. The inclusion of a level editor further broadens the experience, giving players the tools to create and share their own brick layouts. While these community-driven elements may not be the main draw for everyone, they add replay value and highlight the developers’ intention to offer more than a purely linear arcade climb. That said, the experience is not without its drawbacks. Despite the impressive number of levels, repetition can set in over long sessions, as the core mechanics do not evolve dramatically beyond increased complexity and visual variation. Some players may also notice moments where ball physics or hit detection feel slightly inconsistent, which can be frustrating in a genre that relies so heavily on precision. These issues don’t render the game unplayable, but they can undermine the sense of fairness that is crucial to high-score chasing and late-game mastery. Ultimately, Glaive: Brick Breaker succeeds as a content-rich homage to a beloved arcade genre. It doesn’t radically reinvent brick breaking, but it doesn’t need to; its strength lies in offering a polished, visually engaging take on a timeless formula, supported by a wealth of modes and stages. For players who enjoy classic arcade challenges, methodical skill improvement, and the satisfying rhythm of ball and paddle gameplay, it delivers a substantial and entertaining package. While those seeking bold innovation may find it familiar, fans of traditional brick breakers will likely appreciate its dedication to scale, variety, and fast-paced fun. Rating: 6/10
Gutes Spiel, aber für die paar Euro kann man sich jetzt auch nichts großartiges erwarten.
I am the paddle that bounce balls into bricks until they break. You can go left, you can go right, and collect pick-ups to a very nice and chill soundtrack.
It's way too choppy. I can't play it. I would like a refund...
