This is a simple old school dungeon crawler. It's made completely by one person - me, who is a fan of dark fantasy games, adventures, dungeons and dragons! Gold Edition means the game is complete with all additional features and items. It also offers new in-game economy based on the gold you collect

Easily one of the best $2 I ever spent. hack and slash game involving blocking with a shield and attacking after blocking, relatively straightforward, unequipping your weapon makes you run faster and so does running on an angle, some enemies are harder to get in a quick hit or two so you have to patient while others can be a pain, the game is by no means a Dark soul kind of game however, its alot more easy than i thought it would be, but the achievements, specifically the one involving finishing the game without a shield can be a pain without health potions and other items which cost alot of gold which require at least close to 2 run throughs of the game. all in all there is about 9 levels each with their own doors you have to backtrack to in order to open and find extra health , better weapons and shield, the sword seems to attack faster than the axes in this game, and an increase to shield armor doesn't really seem to do much, regardless of getting the new weapon or shield in each level the game seems to start you off with them if you make it to the next level. At the end of each level is a boss all of them have no real strategy to them much like every other enemy in the game just block and attack after blocking and keep your stamina up, towards the end of the game enemies get progressively more hit points towards you however so that means you get fewer chances to take hits before potentially dying, this can however be deflected by buying health potions from a shop menu at the start menu of the game. Overall this is a solid fun game for the price of $2.50 on sale and i would recommend this to anyone who loves action / hack and slash kind of games, i played for 4 straight hours having fun the whole way through.

Honestly, it's hard to go wrong for $3. While Ghoul Castle isn't a perfect game, it's a fun and breezy first-person dungeon crawler that you can easily get through in just a few hours. If you're in the mood for some 3D nostalgia, this game delivers that in spades. The arcade-like design is charming, and the combat has a bit of nuance, which keeps things interesting. That said, there are areas where it could improve. I do wish there were more puzzle elements to break up the action, as well as more ways or reasons to spend gold during gameplay. In fact, I didn’t realize until after finishing the game that you actually need to go to the menu to spend your gold, which feels like a missed opportunity to integrate it more naturally into the gameplay loop. Overall, if you're craving some skeleton-bashing fun without spending much, Ghoul Castle offers solid entertainment for the price. It's simple, but it scratched the right itch for me.
A game about combat, has a very bad combat. You basically go forward attack and backward all the time, and/or attack and block. Also enemies do the same, which is weird, because they have less range. Also they can't use stairs it seems, because the first "boss" can be wrecked at the edge of the stairs, and so were the first rats. I will not downvote it though, since I can see some potential in here. It really is just the combat and AI, that needs some work. Sure the gameplay also is very basic, but it's fine for a 3 dollar game. And even if the dev isn't able to achieve this in this game, I'm sure in future projects he will improve his skills. Also, he doesn't ask for much, so it isn't a rip-off scam thing. Just early unexperienced work, I assume.
this game is cool & fine and you know, is ported and exists also on phones with 2 paid & cheap dlcs, i dont know, becouse ChEATS FOR MANY ARE MISSING after third level. You can buy unlock levels on smartphones, on steam none.
