Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
February 1945. The war is almost over but your fight is about to begin. You play Gerda Larsen, a young nurse who is torn between her community and her desperate quest to save her husband, Anders. Many other lives will come to depend on your decisions.
Gerda’s journey will involve moral dilemmas, difficult conversations, and sticky situations. It’s a dangerous world and you must help her adapt to it with the choices you make, which always have both short- and long-term consequences.
If you give away precious resources to somebody who needs them now, will you come to regret it later? Will there be consequences if you, as a nurse, help a person who is suffering even though they may later cause suffering to others?

Make the most of what you have: your personality points, your allegiances, and your resources. Your relationship with people and factions will determine how your story unfolds. Level up Gerda’s mental skills by reflecting on her experiences in her diary to gain personality skill points. Use these skills during events and conversations to unlock special actions, gain others’ trust, or keep them from suspecting you.
You can choose where to explore and when – but do so wisely, as people move around and events can be time sensitive. As you investigate and make progress, your choices will send you down many different narrative paths. Will you do whatever it takes to save Anders, or will you cling fiercely to your morals? Your actions will lead to several poignant conclusions and change the fate of your community in Gerda: A Flame in Winter.

Great game overall. It depicts how the choices of individuals under fascist rule are shaped by their surroundings but are individual choices nontheless. The story really sucks you in and your choices shape the story quite a bit, so im looking forward to another playthrough. The story and your possibilities are shaped by the actions you've taken before, but unlike life and death of sir brante you dont have to minmax to not completely get screwed later on in the game. And like Disco Elysium there are options where there is a diceroll that you can hit or miss. But unlike Disco its not determined by what silly hat you wear but how well aligned you are with certain persons and factions in the game. Only critique: Towards the end of Gerdas Story, i couldnt choose an option i had the points for, which was sad.
Great story.

This is a really cool narrative game, with good story, and interesting setting. I would really like to give this a positive review, as I liked most of it. Unfortunately, it has some cons that soured my taste with it: - Twice I ran into an bug in which, after an autosave, the logs/dialogue/narration claimed I'd made a choice I had not done in the previous scene. In one of these cases it only changed a minor dialogue option later in the story from easy to challenging, and in the other case it resulted with a character being dead in the following scenes. Since you don't have manual saves, only an autosave and one save slot, this means that you sometimes have to live with the results of the bugs, not with the concequences of your choices. - The Train station scene felt more like a puzzle with imperfect information, than a culmination of my previous choices. Not sure if it is or not. It could also be that the game gives you a lot of things to do in this scene, but passing those checks will still automatically lead to success or failure depending your choices, which isn't great either. - There is an element of rng when it comes to persuasion checks. It is annoying when you keep failing easy persuasion checks after considering and planning the choices that led to them. I think the rng should have been there as an option to save you, if you made mistakes earlier in the story or scene, not as a last, although easier hurdle to overcome if you made the right ones. - The game should show you the dice rolls or at least their numerical results. A very minor thing that would have made the rng mechanic visually more pleasing. - The game needs a run toggle. The bugs, especially after running into them twice, are what mainly leads me to give this a negative review. If I had not gotten them in my first and likely only playthrough, I would have been able to recommend this game without reservations. Still, I'm interested to see what this studio does in the future.
A hard game to review I liked this one uiet alot. The game has alot of choices, witch again seems to have a lot of variables. Alot of hard choices that seems to influence other choices down the line. They are hard and difficult to make. And you almost feel like no matter waht you make there are just alot of bad choices. But, again is a game set during ww2 so is bleak. So is the story, so is the atmosphere, so is the dialogue. The dialogue is good. The characters is fine too. And you just have to live with some bad choices. The setting is good. I like that is ww2 game without any of the normal combat. That no matter what you do some bad things will happen There some ok twist too here. The music is good All in all i liked the gameplay, that you can read about stuff during that period. That you can build up relatinship with different people and factions. That you get clues. A great game.
Both Liva's and Gerda's stories are captivating with a banch of alternatives. If I had to pick one, I'd choose the Gerda's story because it's longer and fuller. It's nice touch that, when you finish the games, you can go back in crucial points and choose an altervative.
This is a beautiful, short game with a simple but powerful story. The gameplay is similarly simple, but is an improvement on the standard point-and-click adventure or pure choose-your-adventure format. I also enjoyed the art style and the voice acting. I highly recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale.
