Neat little game! Pretty good atmosphere and very good sprite work. It's not the longest thing in the world if you just rush through without wanting to explore. However there are a number of endings that you need to go out of your way to figure out. Between hunting for endings and the all important fishing minigame there's a good amount of stuff to do here. It's not without flaws, though. Without turning on assist mode or adjusting the brightness there are some areas that are very, very hard to navigate. And finding some of the side areas requires some very lateral thinking. So a player who isn't willing to really scrabble over the edges of where you are and aren't supposed to be may miss out entirely on some really interesting content. (This issue is only really an issue to me at time of writing because there are no guides for this game, to be fair.) These issues are at least pretty solvable by the additional options the developer added in assist mode, monster spawns, etc. So overall not too much to worry about. Good times, would buy again.
i got lost for 98% of the game and only was able to find everything (most things) because some guy that had access to the code did the equivalent of babing me through it, 100% would feel stupid again

Very fun looks amazing goo d game The game looks really good, the sound effects are really good for setting the mood. I personally am a coward and I REALLY appreciate the options to let me play this game still. The platforming is fun I like wall jumps. The extras are really cool too it's really obvious the dev goes out of his way to make sure people will enjoy this. It's very simple and easy to get into right away.

I've still yet to get all endings nor find the fishing minigame, but I've managed to beat the game in a past version at least once
with the amulet destroyed
. This abstains from cheap jumpscares in favor of creating tension by playing into fears of the unknown, something I very much appreciate as a total wuss with horror games. You're exploring a mysterious cavern, surrounded by little light, and always feeling like something's close by. As you venture further into the depths, you encounter horrific creatures who will give chase on sight, with even the cave telling you to act fast. There's scattered writings of an explorer losing their grip on reality from staying confined between these walls too long. The game does a very good job of creating a quiet, hostile atmosphere, and keeping the player on alert. My biggest complaint is how tedious it gets when you're aiming to complete the game, since collectibles are overall pretty hard to find and
destroying the amulet forces you to reopen the game before you start over
. And the final phase
post-destroying the amulet
, hohhhh boy, even with the shotgun tweaked to not need manual reloading all the time, it's still a pain to do. Worth mentioning you can crouch-dash for no reason. Hit forward, forward, down.
I got the Freedom ending. The lighting was basically nonexistent for the entirety of the game even with the assist mode. It's just very hard to see much of anything. Part of me wished for a map to better figure out where I might be or where to explore, but I suppose it's small enough to not really need to worry about that. Platforming is pretty good, and there are a handful of "jump scare" moments that I think are well done. All things considered I finished the game after about 40 minutes of play. I enjoyed it.
great little atmospheric horror platformer. lots of exploration and little secrets to be found, half a dozen endings, cute characters. very much worth the price of entry. fishing will consume you

At first I thought this was gonna be a short and simple game but there is more to look for after getting 1 of the few endings and everything is vague so look out for any secrets. Also there is fishing and if you do buy this game, PRESS ALT.
