Gears of War: Reloaded

Nada que reprochar a esta versión; solo agradecer que podamos disfrutarla en Steam y que Microsoft siga apostando por esta plataforma. Esperemos que sigan llegando los demás juegos de la saga hasta completarla y poder disfrutarlos todos.

Disappointed with how bad it was.... was hoping for a series of Gears 1-3 and it's a let down. I will say, the cutscenes are beautiful and I would have paid this price for a movie.

Man, that first Xbox intro audio blows my speakers. Definitely not worth the full price as it's only 10 hours long. But a fun experience to play GoW-1 again after like decades. "Walking through sewers builds the immune system" ~ Dom

I've read through some of the reviews and in some respects I think they have been a smidge harsh on the game. Don't get me wrong there are still a couple of issues but I didn't have any problems with the audio like some mentioned. I did try to play about with this a bit to see if I could replicate the issues by using speakers through blue tooth and wires. I played the game on my laptop with no issues regarding sound and I also played them through headphones and still absolutely fine. I did notice for cut scenes that there was a significant drop in frame rate, all cut scenes are limited to 30 fps, but it's not really that bad. I can't comment on any of the online features as I was just playing this through as a single player campaign. This is where I did find an annoying problem. The AI for your fellow team mates is shocking, like really bad. If you think that any of them are going to follow you around the levels/map you'd be wrong. Even under command to regroup they have naff all interest in doing so. So you'll get no back up, so with that in mind you might want to on occasion think with a bit more strategy when playing on a harder level. I'd get this game on while it's on sale, at full price I'd give it a miss. For me it's still got all the nostalgia feels, nuff said!
