It’s a game that can be somewhat challenging in some parts, enough to make things a little difficult for you, but not so much that it becomes frustrating. Besides being fun, the game looks incredible. But most importantly, seeing Gura again, or rather, being able to play with her, is something really special. Personally, I find it incredibly nostalgic to see the girls who have already graduated appear as main characters in games, or even as side characters like in Holodori. It’s simply touching and nostalgic. Just for that alone, in my opinion, it’s worth playing. Honestly, I think the price is a little high for the kind of game it is, but well, you can just wait for it to go on sale and buy it then, or you can buy it at full price and that's it. It’s not like it’s extremely expensive either. If you just want to save a few bucks, you can simply wait for a sale.
If you were a fan of HoloMyth between the years 2020 and 2021, then you'll get a lot out of this game. It includes a lot of references both in the environments and dialogue for fans of Myth, to the point where this feels like a time capsule of that early time frame. The dialogue between Amelia and Gura is on point, and really does feel like the banter they'd have during their streams. I almost feel nostalgic playing this, and it makes me happy to play it. For people who are fans of Hololive, but not particularly of Myth, you might get a kick out of it, if only to get a feeling of what early Hololive English felt like. For people who don't even know what Hololive is, then this is a harder sell. For 8 dollars you'll get about 2~ hours of platforming challenges with pretty tight controls. Gura's run speed feels a little sluggish, especially with how far her dive takes her in comparison, but the platforming challenges (especially some in the later levels) are balanced around her current kit, so it works well enough. Outside of platforming, I loved fighting the bosses. Furi was cited as an inspiration in the credits, and I can see it. Outside of the first two, each of them has their own gimmicks you have to work around, which keeps them feeling fresh and fun. However, most of them feel a little too easy. Only the last boss gave any real challenge, and I wish there was a harder mode to maybe mix up the boss movesets and really test your reflexes. There are light exploration elements to the maps, since there are hidden hats you can find for Gura, but most of them are very easy to find with only a few exceptions. I would have liked it if some of the hats were hidden behind optional hard platforming puzzles, but what's there is nice enough. I only encountered one bug when playing, but a quick restart is all it took to fix it, and since the checkpoints are VERY generous, I lost maybe 30 seconds of progress. Oh, there was also an annoying bug later on where the camera would mess up every time I entered a vehicle, but fortunately I could work around it, but it's worth keeping in mind. For 8 dollars, it's a no brainer for fans of Hololive, I'd definitely recommend it. It's better than most of the HoloIndie stuff, but I know that's not say a lot. If you're not a fan, I'd still recommend it if you're into platformers with goofy characters and dialogue, and some fun bosses to fight as well.

Best 8$ i've spent. The game has a silly premise and the bosses were creative. Getting 100% was really fun especially because some of the achievements are obtained by no hitting the bosses. Warning no hitting the final boss is not for the weak. I have attached my fight below. 10/10 game "A nap over an hour is no longer a nap, it is a mistake" - Ina of the Mountain https://youtu.be/en8qTUFJwNM
Back when Hololive Gen 1 was a thing, I would watch them whenever my parents started arguing and I would sit in the corner of the room and cry, and listen to Gawr Gura. I’d just sit there watching Hololive while eating the left over chips in my cabinet Then my neighbor’s dog would steal my food, so I’d run after it trying to get my food back and the neighbor would call the police on me for trying to chase their dog. After many lawsuit and fighting I came back okay, dog some scars but im okay. Anyways cool game 9/10 game too short.
I love this game, it's so funny, so fun, I can hear Gura and Ame through all the dialogue. Genuinely a 10/10 experience.
It's a charming little indie game, specifically for fans of HoloMyth. It's full of little memes and references, and the personalities of the girls are all well reflected. To me, this feels like a love letter to AmeSame more than anything else. I know development on this started years ago, but these days they are dearly missed. The majority of the gameplay consists of platforming and combat. The core combat isn't particularly complex, but it works well. The regular enemies are easy to take out, and the bosses are fun. Similar to a Souls game, you're probably not going to kill them all on your first try, there is a learning curve to each fight, and it's satisfying when you take them down. The last boss was the most enjoyable, though I felt like I was fighting with the camera a little bit during certain attacks. The platforming, I think, is where this game really shines. Lots of good ideas and challenges without being overly frustrating. I do have a handful of criticisms though. There are glitches and bugs, though they're not game breaking, they are noticeable. The footstep sound never stops when you're on the Bubba-ball, it's not synced to your movement speed at all. I clipped through the ground during the first boss fight, which crashed the game. I got soft locked by the terrain on Kiara's stage. I also had some kind of graphical glitch on Kiara's stage where there were white flashing orbs appearing intermittently around the screen throughout the level. Minor things, but certainly worth addressing. Another perplexing thing is that the dev took the time and effort to create a combat vehicle, and then it's only used for 2 rooms. Definitely could've done more with that. Overall, I'd say this is a game for Myth fans. I doubt randos would be happy with an $8, 2 hour experience that's full of characters, memes and references that they don't understand. However, as a fan, I will say that I had blissfully forgotten about graduations during my playthrough.
Short (less than 2hrs), sweet and charming platformer that did not overstay its welcome. The platforming sessions were fairly challenging, and the checkpoints for both the stages and boss fights were very generous, which I really like as it reduces the frustrating aspect of the game by a ton! + Points for me. Although the combat is a bit too simple, the no-hit challenges might bring me back to the game to get all the hats. It's crazy that I wishlisted this game back in college (2021) and seeing it being released now! I had a fun time throughout the entire experience, I recommend this game if anyone is looking for a bite-sized platformer with your favorite Sharku.
Unfortunately hard crashes my PC after 30 min. The demo was a ton of fun and so was what I was able to play of this; hoping for an update so I can change my review. A
