This game is very fun, you can afk or actually play the game, no skill checks or anything,at one point i couldn't understand anything that was happening on my screen so i just accepted it and stared at the hellhole I turned the earth into. Cool game!

fun game but honestly the game is too short to be worth 5 bucks
Absurd in all the right ways. Took about 1 hour to get all achievements. Runs fine on Steam Deck. I'm looking forward to the future updates the dev mentions in the credits!
AWESOME dopamine rushing game. very satisfying! 1000/1000 would recommend!
Was able to beat what this game has in an hour, was fun so I'm excited for whatever is added next.
Garbage Growth is an offbeat incremental game that turns an unlikely concept into an entertaining progression-driven experience. Developed and published by apepatrickdev, the game embraces absurd humor by placing players in charge of building a thriving business around collecting and profiting from garbage. Instead of encouraging environmental restoration, it intentionally flips expectations by rewarding players for expanding pollution and treating waste as an endlessly valuable resource. This tongue-in-cheek premise gives the game a unique identity, making it stand out among other idle and clicker-style titles while maintaining a lighthearted atmosphere that never takes itself too seriously. The gameplay centers on collecting trash, converting it into money, and using those earnings to purchase increasingly powerful upgrades. What begins as a simple task quickly evolves into a satisfying cycle of expansion, with each investment improving efficiency and unlocking new ways to generate even more wealth. The pacing is steady, ensuring that players consistently feel rewarded for their progress without becoming overwhelmed by unnecessary complexity. Fans of incremental games will appreciate the familiar loop of watching numbers grow while gradually transforming a small operation into a sprawling garbage-producing empire. One of the game's more amusing mechanics is the introduction of rats that automate trash collection. Rather than relying entirely on manual input throughout the experience, players can recruit these industrious helpers to handle repetitive work, allowing them to focus on upgrading their business and planning future expansions. Automation is introduced at an effective pace, creating a genuine sense of advancement while preserving enough player interaction to keep the gameplay engaging. The sight of an expanding workforce of rats efficiently gathering litter perfectly matches the game's humorous tone and adds personality to its progression system. Beyond simple upgrades, Garbage Growth also includes a skill tree that provides additional ways to enhance production and improve overall efficiency. This extra layer of progression gives players meaningful long-term goals while preventing the experience from feeling like a straightforward cycle of purchasing bigger numbers. Unlocking new abilities, discovering increasingly ridiculous collectibles, and expanding production all contribute to a rewarding sense of momentum. Although the mechanics remain approachable for newcomers, there is enough variety to keep dedicated fans of the genre invested throughout the game's progression. The visual presentation complements the gameplay with colorful pixel art and lively animations that make every new upgrade feel satisfying. Despite revolving around piles of trash and growing pollution, the art style remains bright, playful, and full of charm rather than unpleasant or grim. Menus are clean and easy to navigate, allowing players to manage upgrades and automation systems with minimal frustration. Combined with modest hardware requirements, the polished presentation ensures the game is accessible to a broad audience without sacrificing its distinctive personality. Garbage Growth also benefits from knowing its own scope. Instead of artificially extending the experience with unnecessary repetition, it delivers a concise adventure that reaches a satisfying conclusion before the gameplay loop begins to lose its appeal. The developer has indicated plans to expand the game with additional content in the future, which gives the project room to grow while reinforcing confidence that it will continue receiving support after release. Ultimately, Garbage Growth succeeds by fully committing to its unconventional premise and pairing it with addictive incremental mechanics. The steady progression, humorous writing, enjoyable automation systems, and charming pixel-art presentation combine to create an experience that is easy to pick up and difficult to put down. While players searching for a deep management simulation may find its mechanics relatively straightforward, those who enjoy idle games, clickers, and light simulation titles will likely find plenty to appreciate. Its quirky sense of humor and satisfying gameplay loop make it a memorable indie release that proves even a business built on garbage can be surprisingly entertaining. Rating: 8/10
It's okay, but 1h is really short...
