A story-driven documentary game about the heroism of the drivers who delivered supplies to besieged Leningrad across the frozen waters of Lake Ladoga — The Road of Life.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Road of Life tells the story of those who carried hope across the frozen waters of Lake Ladoga.
A freezing cab. The rumble of an engine. Ahead, a curtain of white. Beneath your wheels, ice. Beneath the ice, frigid water. On the far shore, people are waiting for supplies their lives depend on. You have to get through. Then find the strength to make the next run.
In Road of Life, you take the wheel of the legendary “polutorka,” a one-and-a-half-ton truck, and follow the ice road across Lake Ladoga to deliver vital supplies to besieged Leningrad.
Every journey will test your resolve. Drive through blizzards, navigate treacherous stretches of ice, repair breakdowns along the way, and keep moving under the threat of air raids. Every load you carry is destined for people waiting for help. Every decision you make carries a responsibility for their lives.
Along the way, you will meet people with their own stories, fears, and hopes. Through conversations and shared hardships, you will learn about their lives—and your choices and actions will help shape their fates.
The game draws on archival materials, historical documents, and firsthand accounts. These sources help us recreate the world of that time and shape the stories of characters inspired by real people. Through the experiences of one truck driver, we want to tell the stories of those who transported supplies across Lake Ladoga, saved lives, and kept going under the harshest conditions.
Ahead lies Lake Ladoga. Along the way, encounters that will change lives. On the far shore, people are counting on you.
