What if in a Weiqi (Go) game stones lose their solid shapes and could be placed anywhere? Do those classic josekis still hold up? How do you make an eye? Is it easier/more difficult to attack/defend? This game satisfies all your curiosity. Try out Fluid Weiqi and experience Weiqi like never before!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Fluid Weiqi is an electronic variant of the traditional game of Weiqi (Go game). In this variant, stones are no longer solid pieces placed precisely on grid intersections. Instead, they become blurred, flexible spheres of influence that can be placed anywhere on the board.
Although the logic for determining life and death remains the same as in traditional rules—a connected group of stones is dead if completely surrounded with no liberties—the much freer placement rule leads to many surprising differences from what you take for granted in traditional Weiqi. For example: a single enemy stone can now be captured with as few as three of your own stones; stones that would normally form a single connected group can be separated; ladders become much more difficult, and so on. Even if you are an experienced Weiqi player, you can still rediscover the joy of exploring a new game's rules in Fluid Weiqi.
Beyond the classic mode that "just looks like Weiqi", the game plans to support several rule variants, such as:
Adjustable board sizes;
2–4 players playing on the same board;
Spherical board;
Shrinking circle mode (the board gradually shrinks until one side dominates the board).
The following content is planned for future versions:
Paintbrush mode (all parties draw on the board in real time);
Raindrop mode (neutral raindrops gradually appear on the board);
Circular and freely shapeable boards.

模式刚刚开始好玩,但是ai没有对抗性。感觉还是要和朋友一起玩才好玩(很多游戏都是因为有人的不确定而变得好玩)。免费的要什么自行车呢doge 期待越来越好!
Another Ch**ese trash cluttering up Steam, the game isn't even needed by the Ch**ese themselves, lol. btw no english = no positive review.

(Liquid Go) is a unique puzzle and strategy game that takes inspiration from the traditional board game Go but changes the rules with a more fluid and experimental approach. Instead of simply placing stones on a fixed board like normal Go, the game introduces new mechanics that make players think differently about movement, territory, and strategy. The biggest strength of 液态围棋 is its original idea. Using the concept of Go as a foundation while adding a different style of gameplay gives it a fresh identity. Players who enjoy strategy games and puzzles may find the unusual rules interesting because it requires learning a new way of thinking rather than just copying traditional Go strategies. The gameplay rewards planning and careful decisions. Like classic Go, controlling space and predicting your opponent's moves are important, but the added mechanics create new situations that require experimentation. When you successfully create a strategy or solve a difficult situation, the game can feel very satisfying. The simple design also works in its favour. Strategy games do not always need complicated graphics, and the clean presentation keeps the focus on the actual gameplay. It feels more like a thoughtful puzzle experience than a flashy action game. However, the biggest issue is accessibility. Players who do not already enjoy strategy or board games may struggle to understand the rules at first. The game requires patience and a willingness to learn, and it may not explain its mechanics clearly enough for everyone. The content can also feel limited depending on what you expect. While the core idea is interesting, there may not be enough variety or different modes to keep all players interested for a long time. More challenges, tutorials, or additional gameplay options could have helped make the experience stronger. The replay value depends heavily on the player. Strategy fans who enjoy mastering systems may get a lot out of improving their skills, while casual players may finish the available content and move on. Overall, 液态围棋 is an interesting experimental strategy game with a creative twist on a classic concept. It will not appeal to everyone, but for players who enjoy unique puzzle games and learning new systems, it offers something different from the usual strategy titles. Rating: 6.5/10
Странная игра, но ладно.
游戏有创意,但是对于吃的判定有点奇怪,有时候围住了还是吃不了;球面模式一旦对手下背面就不知道下哪里了,建议加一个上一子标示(加红框之类的);还有AI太简单了
