In 1954, deep within the primeval forest of Laoyeling in Northeast China, a joint scientific expedition team consisting of Chinese and foreign scholars ventured into the mountains for exploration. However, after entering the mountains, all members mysteriously disappeared without any trace or communication.

The emergency search and rescue mission is launched immediately. You are Zhao Gong, the search and rescue team leader who has been appointed at the critical moment, proficient in communication repair on one hand, and skilled in Japanese translation on the other. On this trip, you will work together with experienced hunter Da Saibangzi, security guard Xiaochen, archaeologist Shelly, as well as a group of Japanese scientific research team members including geology professor Takagi Ichiro, assistant Zhongshan Lanzi, and Xiaolin Jianci to assist in the dense forest and jointly search for the missing scientific research personnel.

In a sudden accident, the entire search and rescue team stumbled into an isolated and hidden sinkhole. Remote mountainous forbidden areas and underground mysteries emerged one after another, and various strange and bizarre events followed. The truth behind the disappearance of the scientific research team, the source of the anomalies in the forest, and the millennia-old secrets buried deep within the sinkhole - these are the puzzles waiting to be explored.
