Bu çok oyunculu çevrimiçi bir kelime oyunudur! Canavar kartları elde ederek, canavar kartlarını birleştirerek evrimleşen karakterler yeni görünümler ve beceriler kazanacak. Farklı silahlar ve ekipmanlarla farklı meslekleri deneyimleyin. Evrim yoluyla sürekli olarak yeni sistemlerin kilidini açın.

Darkward is a very strange little adventure game, and I think the decision to make it almost entirely text based is what gives it most of its identity. I am playing as the Wanderer in a bleak purgatorial world filled with ruined sanctuaries, tombs and things that are better left buried. There is no combat and there is not much hand holding either. Instead, I am reading descriptions, clicking through choices and trying to understand what the world is telling me. It has a very dark fantasy feeling, but it is more interested in atmosphere and mystery than throwing enemies at me. The atmosphere is easily the strongest part for me. The writing constantly makes the world feel cold, empty and uncomfortable, and I like how much information is left for me to work out myself. I am not given a big explanation of what happened or a map showing me exactly where to go. I have to pay attention to inscriptions, objects, locations and the consequences of my choices. That makes even small discoveries feel important because I am slowly putting the world together in my own head. I also like the way the point and click system works with the text. I am not typing commands or dealing with complicated controls. I simply choose actions from the available links and see what happens. Some choices can close off paths while others open up new possibilities later, so I have to be careful about what I decide to do. I like this because it makes the game feel more like interactive fiction than a traditional adventure game. There are also four Steam achievements tied to the different soul fragments, which gives me another reason to explore the different outcomes. The biggest problem for me is that the game can be very unclear about what it actually wants me to do. There are moments where I understand the atmosphere and the story perfectly well, but I have no idea which item I am supposed to use or where I am supposed to go next. Because there is no proper map and the game deliberately avoids explaining everything, I can end up trying different items and actions simply to see what works. I do not mind figuring things out, but there is a difference between a puzzle being mysterious and the game simply not giving me enough information. The visual side is also quite limited. A lot of the experience comes through text, with images being used to support certain locations and moments rather than creating a fully illustrated world. I think this works for the bleak atmosphere, but I still would have liked more visual detail because the setting has enough interesting ideas to support it. The developers have also said that AI tools were used for initial concept art before the final graphics were manually redrawn and refined, which is worth knowing when judging the presentation. I also think the short length works both for and against the game. Darkward does not waste time with unnecessary systems, and I like that I can get through its main ideas without committing to a huge adventure. At the same time, I finish feeling like the world could have gone much further. There are plenty of interesting ideas around the Wanderer, the soul fragments, the ruined world and the strange lore, and I would have liked to see more of them developed. Still, being free makes the limited length much easier for me to accept, especially when the game is clearly aiming to be a small atmospheric experience rather than a massive RPG. Overall, Darkward is a creative little adventure that I think succeeds because it knows exactly what kind of experience it wants to be. I really like the dark atmosphere, mysterious writing and simple choice based exploration, and I appreciate that it trusts me to work things out rather than explaining every detail. The lack of direction can become frustrating, and the limited visuals and short length stop it from reaching the higher ratings I would give to a more complete adventure. Even so, there is enough personality here for me to remember it, and I think the strange text based approach makes it worth trying when I want something slower and more unusual. Rating: 6.6/10
