Good Rougelite! I like the gameplay loop and think it's a unique take on astroid like games.
Very fun combination of gameplay features, mixing arcade spaceship shooting with Newtonian physics, enemy detection based on whether you drift, accelerate or boost, mech suit combat, use of environments and roguelite mechanics. Death comes quick if you are not careful but can always be avoided by using the right tactics against the variety of enemies. You need to quickly switch between keeping your distance as a spaceship and getting close as a mech depending on what is currently the best tactics. Throw items from the environment at your enemies or throw your enemies directly into the environment as a mech or shoot a hail of rockets at them from a distance. And sometimes you just need to run away. Took me a while to get a grasp of the mechanics and it can be frustrating to die against "OP" enemies, until you realize the enemy is just strong against your spaceship/mech form and very weak against the other. Once switching becomes intuitive it is a really nice gameplay flow and dying makes you just want to try once more. I suggest starting in Arcade mode (where you can always start from the beginning of a mission and not from the beginning of a 5-mission story) until you get a hang of it. But while each run gives you different combinations of items, they are still quite similar, so replayability is, at least for me, rather limited. For example you can give your attacks elemental damage. But whether your freeze them or shock them is essentially the same (they are stunned for a while) and there are no additional upgrades that build upon that elemental damage. I am still having fun so far having almost finished the available stories in Arcade mode. I do not fully understand why it only has "Playable" as Steam Deck compatibility. I can read all text just fine. Only the enemy description in your log (which is only flavour) is a bit small (but still readable) but I never used it after opening it once.
