Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Fire and Forget. That was the simple motto of the Sidescrollershooter Games of the '80s. Just fire an reach the End. And at the End waiting a Bossmonster for you. Katakis, R-Type, Gradius, Nemesis, just a few Names. How i miss that Times. I´m Always happy, when a todays Developer is taking on that Golden Era. Like this one. Welcome to GALACTIC OUTLAWS! YOU are part of an Elite Team. Outlaws.u Humankinds only hope in surviving the Galactic War. It´s nearly the same Story every Sidescroller Shooter. But, who cares? There is very much fun waiting for you. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3577784027 At first you have one Ship, low Speed, low Weapons, low Health. Every Start isn´t easy, but you already know that, don´t you? The Mothership is kicking you out of her Hangar into the First Enemy Zone and here you do what? Right! Fire and Forget! Shoot all that Moves! They are loosing Galactic Money after Destruction. Collect it and use it to buy Upgrades, Perks, new Ships and more. Sometimes they loose Healths to restore your Lifebar. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3577784463 Well, all you have to do is to fight your Way through. Wave after Wave. The more you kill the faster you Level up. Earn Skill Points and use them wisely to make Progress. A whole Galaxy is waiting for you. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3577784806 Each Ship you can unlock has its own Weapon System. But each Ship is starting and Zero. Yes you have to Level it up, like your first Ship. So, choose wisely. GALACTIC OUTLAWS has an amaaaaaazing Retro Soundtrack. HEY DEV, please make a Soundtrack DLC, i buy! Wyvern Word of Honor! The Graphics are also wonderfull Old School. I looooove it! Fluid Gameplay, easy in the Beginning, later really challenging, and i mean REALLY challenging. GALACTIC OUTLAWS is a nice Retro Pearl, abow to the good old Era. Pure Fun and highly addicting (Just one more Battle). Thanks to the Developer for inviting me to this Journey. edit: although some complaints still stand, like xp seemingly not scaling at all with higher maps, you no longer lose all progress on death and movement speed got buffed, which makes the game playable at least. could be an ok-ish game if it wasn´t plagued by very questionable design choices. losing all your xp on death feels abysmal, especially on boss stages, where you have to reach the end of the level just to get oneshot and lose everything. level curve is also highly questionable, at level 20 you have to clear 2 full missions for just 1 level up, at level 30 its around 6, just to upgrade your shooting speed from 0,17/s to ... 0,17/s? movement is absolutely sluggish, even with 5+ points in movement speed it feels awful, not what you want in a bullet hell game. you also don´t move at the same speed in all directions which feels weird. there´s 12 perks, but you can only equip 1 at a time? There´s also a lot of different ships, but you can´t see their stats unless you buy them and you have to level every ship from scratch, doing the same missions over and over again, and god forbid you die due to the crappy movement, wasting your time. not having any fun here, can´t recommend
Really solid shmup. Good variety of ships, perks and upgrades that let you experiment with different builds. I appreciate a shmup that is engaging and satisfying enough without needing gimmicky mechanics like time slow down or switching between bullet colors, etc. Getting all achievements is pretty easy too.
The game offers an impressive selection of 20 ships, each with different health, speed, and main weapon damage stats, along with three possible special weapons. However, you can only equip one special weapon during a mission. The biggest problem is that you have no way of comparing a newly purchased ship with your current one because its stats remain hidden until after you buy it. That means you could easily spend your hard earned money on something that ends up being worse than what you already have. Fortunately, earning enough money for a new ship usually takes only a mission or two, so it is more of an inconvenience than a major setback. Still, I honestly found little reason to switch from the default ship. It is more than capable of carrying you through the entire game. On top of that, changing ships means starting the leveling process all over again, which feels like a waste of time when there is no way of knowing whether the new ship will actually be an upgrade. If you really want to experiment, it is probably best to wait until the later sectors when money becomes plentiful and you can simply buy levels instead of grinding them. Apart from the starter ship, every vessel must be purchased with the game's currency. Prices gradually increase, but your progress is also limited by how many sectors you have completed. There are five sectors in total, each consisting of five stages that must be cleared in order to finish that sector. Once you enter a stage, the gameplay follows the classic shoot'em up formula. You fly in from the left side of the screen while enemies approach from the right, blasting everything in sight while collecting the rewards they leave behind. Thankfully, there is an auto fire option in the settings, which saves your fingers from constant button mashing. Besides your main weapon and whichever special weapon you have equipped, you also have access to a rechargeable bomb that damages most, if not all, enemies currently on the screen. Unfortunately, the stages themselves are not memorable. Aside from different backgrounds, you spend most of your time fighting the same enemies appearing in familiar patterns. The objective is simply to survive while destroying everything until the stage comes to an end. Every sector features a boss that you fight twice, once at the end of the third stage and again after the fifth. Despite having to destroy their weapons before attacking the main hull, bosses rarely put up much of a fight and usually go down surprisingly quickly. Defeated enemies drop experience icons that fill your experience bar when collected. Every enemy drops one icon, but its value depends on the enemy type and difficulty. Each time you level up, you open the upgrade screen and spend a skill point on one of the available upgrades. These upgrades are split into three categories. The first focuses on your ship's core attributes, including health, health regeneration, and speed. The second improves your main weapon through additional projectiles, increased damage, and a faster fire rate. The final category is dedicated to your special weapon. As mentioned earlier, you can only equip one special weapon during a mission, and once selected, it fires alongside your main gun while gaining access to the same three upgrades, namely projectile count, damage, and fire rate. Each upgrade can be improved multiple times, making it more effective with every point invested. Some upgrades come with trade offs, though. Increasing the number of projectiles, for example, reduces the damage dealt by each individual shot. Thankfully, the game lets you respec your build at any time without any cost, allowing you to freely move points around if you are not happy with your choices. This flexibility is especially welcome because ship levels carry over between missions and remain permanently tied to the ship you are currently using. The more you play with a particular ship, the stronger it becomes. Beyond upgrading individual ships, the game also includes permanent perks that can be purchased from the main menu. These are unlocked gradually as you complete more sectors and are bought using coins earned automatically from defeated enemies. You can only equip three perks at once, though, and you begin with just a single perk slot. The remaining two have to be unlocked through progression, just like the rest of the game's features.
