Game is fun. Character and sound design are funny. The music is great. The gameplay feels strategic, not like a button-mashing simulator. The only issue is that the game could have achievements and I would like for it to be translated into English. I had a lot of trouble knowing exactly what the combos were since the game is all in Chinese, and I am not proficient. I know the creator has addressed his desire to translate the game eventually. I hope it happens soon. UPDATE: The translation will begin after the release of the final DLC. I patiently await these updates.

This game gave me cancer. 10/10 best game since halo 3
"FURRIFIGHTERS: PREQUEL I" is is not a complete game. It's an advertisement/demo, and you have to pay more money through DLC to actually unlock the game. What do you get if you let the deceptive and shady marketing win and pay the DLC toll to unlock the game? "FURRIFIGHTERS: PREQUEL I" is a completely garbage Chinese furry friendly Adobe Flash tier brawler that's locked to 4:3 screen resolution, has cringey VN text bolted onto it (because the developers imaginary girlfriend is one of the furries in the game I guess)... it's pure cringe, and you have to pay a huge amount of money to unlock the full game by buying the DLC on this advertisement/game stub. Disgusting pricing.. But remember... you don't get the full game unless you pay up. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $23 USD to unlock content needed for the full game, and I don't recommend you do that either. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. As an advertisement, this is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. Even after that, you're expected to pay up $23 USD to unlock content through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free". In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.
