nothing i say truly matters now since this game has been delisted. but if you bought this game back when it could be bought and it keeps crashing before you get to the race part, turn off the auto-optimization settings by changing the visual settings manually

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Some games you play. Some games become a memory.” Forza Horizon 4 is one of those games. I still remember the first time I drove through the British countryside, the seasons changing around me, the music playing in the background, and thinking: “How the hell does a racing game feel this alive?” FH4 was never just about winning races. It was about getting a car you always wanted, turning off the GPS, and just driving. Rainy roads. Snow-covered mountains. Sunsets over Edinburgh. Random races with strangers. Cruising around with friends at 2 AM. Spending an unreasonable amount of money modifying a car you probably weren't even going to drive. 😂 And somehow, every season felt like a completely different game. Now that FH4 has been delisted, this review feels less like a review and more like a thank-you. Thank you for the roads. Thank you for the music. Thank you for the seasons. Thank you for the cars. Thank you for all the memories. Forza Horizon 4 wasn't perfect. But it didn't need to be. It gave us a world we could escape into whenever real life got boring. And years from now, when someone asks me which racing game I grew up with, I won't remember every race I won. I'll remember driving aimlessly through Britain with the radio on. 10/10. Not because it's flawless. Because some games deserve a 10 simply for the memories they gave you. Goodbye, Horizon 4. You were one hell of a ride. 🥹🏁
