About
Football Fictional World Simulator is a simple, text-based football management and long-term simulation game created by a solo developer.
The game focuses on the part of management games I personally enjoy most: rebuilding a squad during the transfer window, then deciding the starting order before the new season begins.
Choose who to sell, which positions to strengthen and how much to spend. Once the squad is ready, set the first, second and third choices for each position. Then simulate the season and see whether your decisions worked.
The game can simulate around 30,000 matches in roughly ten minutes.
Follow players, clubs and national teams across 100 or even 1,000 years, and watch new rivalries, powers and legends emerge.
A flexible Data Editor allows you to edit nations, leagues, clubs and competitions, add original players, create split leagues and tournaments, combine MODs, and share them through Steam Workshop.

Welcome to forced transfer purgatory. Where you are forced to sell 10 of 11 players chosen. Then forced to buy expensive return players, in a downward spiral, till your budget is gone. (I was Gateshead). Then you get to sign no cost free agents finally to backfill what you fire sold, with crappier players. Yay.
Should not be forced to sell players all the time.
I've been testing it and so far 0 bugs, but there are major immersion issues. I'm from Argentina, and in the generator for Argentine names, about 80% are names that are no longer used in our culture, or that I've honestly never heard anyone use. (Silverio, Benedicto, Brigido, Porfirio, Eligio, Higinio, Remigio, Oreste, Erasmo) Most of them are biblical or archaic names that simply don't exist in this country anymore. Second, I hope the developer understands that for the first few years, it's crucial to respect the CURRENT hierarchy of the football world. How is it possible that Manchester United is set in the second division by default? Or that Real Madrid and Barcelona can get relegated in season 1? In my opinion, that completely breaks the immersion. Also, the Team of the Year (11 ideal) and individual awards are based solely on average rating for the season. It got to the point where the best player in the Spanish La Liga was playing for Valencia, a team that finished 20th and got relegated (a relegated player would never win that award in real life). On top of that, I wanted to check who scored the goals in the World Cup final, and I had to read through the entire match log just to find them. There is no clear match summary showing goals and assists. And this is after playing for only 15 minutes. For now, I won't refund it because I love the concept, but it's definitely still in an early stage regarding these details. Hopefully, these points can be improved.

I thought the game was going to let me edit players and a way to experience a new way of football simulation but the game feels barebones with a lacking UI. And most importantly match results don't make any sense I simulated a season and Strasburg a club from France that has no chance of winning the champions league won it. This result simply told me about the simulation engine. It feels that the game is still in beta. I will hope in the future to the game to be fully customizable from players to club's images. Another disappointment is that other smaller leagues are not accurate to real life at all. And they act mostly as fillers to advertise the game as it has so many leagues. But these are not authentic at all for example the MLS, a league that has 30 teams divided into 2 conferences in real life, in the game there's only 15 on the 1st division, there's no conferences or anything the other 15 act as a 2nd division. Another example is Liga MX it has 2 tournaments in a single year which each are played 16 matches then knockouts, in the game? It literally has the same layout as the Bundesliga making it, just a regular tournament through the season. At that point don't even add these leagues if they're incomplete and the game will benefit from it by making it faster Also the lack of guides into how to play the game is insane, I was completely lost on the 1st 15 minutes but I got the grasp of it. It is simple and a straightforward game with a fun game loop, but with the UI being bad, beginners players would quickly get overwhelm. Nonetheless the game has potential to become a great game, a simpler football manager, which is focused on sim, but currently for 15 dollars I do not recommend it, rather you should try a football game called world soccer champs in mobile, it lets you sim as many seasons, choose an era and most importantly it has authentic leagues with their proper rules, UEFA coefficient, the current UEFA club competitions league table, and it's free.
dont recommend right now will recommend the game when the dev fixes some big flaws. 1. the game is terrible at giving transfer options most of the time just refuses to give you any at all 2. you get no money for your budget from European football competitions only from how you do in the league 3. game says it has dynamic potential for generated players but i have never seen it go up it will only ever go down
I love this, but I recognize it won't be everyone's cup of tea. I have been generating results for years with Logacta and this does that in spades. I have not played using the transfer system, I have just watched teams rise and fall over the years. I pick a few young players from around the world at the start of the year to follow. Some have got good, but none have went to world class!
I'm exactly this games target demo, and there is a lot of potential here. Pretty major updates within first couple days of release, already allowing the player a lot more control over their managed club. This was already extremely enjoyable simply as a world simulator, watching stories and careers unfold before you. Adding more management aspects can give this a whole extra layer and move it from a fun sandbox tool into an actual solid game. Very excited to continue watching where this goes.
Very entertaining football sandbox. Needs QoL and balance improvements, but has the potential to become the perfect Football Manager-lite.
A great idea well executed. The game has a really good base to work with. It already has a huge database to play with. I may spend a lot of time in this game. I have the feeling this is going to be a really REALLY good game.
