Hello, welcome all Chuds, Gamers, and other Nerds. I aim to 100% all the games that catch my eye and join the sea of reviews on this platform. Most will never read this, but I will review the games I find simply and thoroughly. 1 What is "Flesh Water?" A short 2D pixel styled horror game. 2 What does this game play like? Basic walking sim with a few key moments that determine the ending. Simple rankings Story 8/10: Perfect if you like SCP type horror. The story has you working for a mysterious organization, and this is your last day, don’t mess it up. Game play 8/10: Not much to speak of, but the graphics and four different endings all fit into the SCP style of story the game is trying to tell. Overall 8/10: A nice free horror game. Perfect as a quick little campfire story that it aims to be, while also letting your mind expand upon the few details the game does provide.

Short and fun. Has a nice atmosphere
Flesh Water is a short horror experience that takes an intentionally strange premise and turns it into something surprisingly tense, unsettling, and memorable. Developed and published by Euphoric Bros, it puts you in the role of an employee working for a pet-feeding service that clearly has more going on behind the scenes than its innocent description suggests. Your final assignment involves preparing food for a client's unusual pet living inside a massive abandoned swimming pool. The setup is simple, but the warning that even a small mistake can be fatal immediately gives ordinary tasks a threatening quality. Much of the appeal comes from how effectively the game transforms routine work into psychological horror. You and your partner return to the pool to prepare the creature's final meal while also removing evidence that you were ever there. That detail creates immediate questions about the feeding service, the client, and whatever has happened at the location previously. Rather than explaining everything through lengthy exposition, the game allows its bizarre circumstances and environment to generate curiosity. The abandoned swimming pool is particularly effective because its enormous empty spaces and mysterious water naturally encourage players to imagine what might be lurking outside their immediate view. Gameplay is deliberately straightforward, relying more on exploration, interaction, observation, and following instructions than complicated combat or extensive puzzle systems. Preparing the meal correctly becomes the central source of pressure because failure can have serious consequences. This makes otherwise mundane actions feel important. There is an appealing contrast between performing what resembles an ordinary workplace procedure and knowing that the recipient of the meal is something capable of killing you. Players who enjoy slow-building suspense and environmental horror are likely to appreciate this approach more than those expecting an action-heavy survival game. Player decisions are also meaningful because four different endings can be obtained depending on your actions. This gives the relatively brief experience additional replay value and encourages experimentation. After completing one route, curiosity about the remaining possibilities provides a good reason to return and behave differently. Some choices may involve deliberately ignoring the safest course of action simply to discover what happens. This works particularly well in horror because the player's curiosity becomes part of the danger rather than merely a way of uncovering collectibles. The presentation embraces an unusual visual identity instead of chasing realism. Its distinctive graphics complement the surreal atmosphere and prevent the setting from feeling like another generic abandoned location. The massive pool remains the centerpiece, creating an effective sense of vulnerability whenever the player approaches the water or considers what might be concealed within it. The visuals also work alongside the game's darker comedic elements, producing an experience that can shift between disturbing and absurd without completely undermining its tension. Professional voice acting adds personality to the scenario and helps establish the relationship between the characters. The dialogue makes the strange assignment feel almost routine to the people involved, which actually makes the circumstances more unsettling. There are also deliberately ridiculous details scattered throughout the adventure, including an extremely unconventional method of transportation and a turtle sitting in the storage room. These seemingly random elements give the game personality and prevent its horror from becoming overly predictable or self-serious. Its greatest limitation is also an intentional part of its design: this is a compact experience. Anyone expecting a lengthy campaign, extensive progression, complicated inventory management, deep combat, or numerous interconnected puzzles may find the scope limited. The focus instead remains on delivering one strange scenario efficiently. Replaying for alternative endings inevitably means revisiting familiar locations and actions, although the short structure prevents repetition from becoming excessively demanding. It feels closer to an interactive horror short story than a conventional full-scale survival horror adventure. There are five Steam achievements alongside support for Steam Cloud and single-player play. The game also supports numerous languages, helping make its unusual story accessible to a broader audience. Its mixture of horror, mystery, exploration, surreal comedy, and choice-driven outcomes creates an identity that is difficult to mistake for something else. The small details are especially important because they make the world seem intentionally bizarre rather than simply unfinished or empty. Steam Deck compatibility is promising but should be approached with some qualification. The Steam store page does not currently display an official Valve Steam Deck compatibility rating, so it should not be described as formally Verified or Playable. However, the game provides a native Linux version alongside Windows and macOS support, and its lightweight design and uncomplicated gameplay make it a reasonable candidate for handheld play. Players should still expect that controls, interface behavior, or other details may require adjustment because there is no official Deck verification shown on the store page. Overall, this is an entertaining example of small-scale indie horror succeeding through concept and atmosphere rather than size. Feeding a mysterious creature in an abandoned swimming pool is already an effective hook, but the suspicious cleanup operation, fatal consequences, multiple endings, unusual characters, voice acting, and surreal humor give the premise enough substance to remain interesting. Euphoric Bros keeps the experience focused and avoids unnecessarily stretching an idea that works best as a concentrated burst of suspense. For players who appreciate brief experimental horror games, unusual settings, multiple outcomes, and a touch of absurd comedy mixed with genuine unease, it is well worth experiencing. Its mechanics are modest and its duration is limited, but the strange premise and atmosphere compensate by giving the adventure a distinctive personality. It may not provide the complexity of a larger horror production, yet it demonstrates how a focused concept can create tension without elaborate systems or excessive exposition. Rating: 8/10
