Definitely the most boring of the FNAF games but it was the first and primarily focused on that slow buildup horror a lot moreso than the other FNAF games. There is a reason this was considered one of the scariest horror games at the time and it was because of that slow anticipation that something would happen soon. This game builds that suspense well and I think it teaches you the mechanics of the game really well for the first 6 nights. For rebeats, this game is essentiallly unrebeatable, at least after beating 4/20 mode. This game drags on like crazy when you understand how it works but funnily enough, still feels weirdly hard since you become so used to their fast movements. I genuinely reached black out on night 3 since I was so used to 4/20 strats from when I had previously beat this game fully on mobile (that's why my playtime is so low btw, I first tried everything in this game including 4/20 mode). This game is good for first playthroughs but feels incredibly boring and downright tedious for rebeats. 4/20 mode review time: Ehh there's not that much to say about it. It's the easiest max mode by far, even easier than Saturday from Pizzeria Simulator in my opinion, and it's also by far the most boring. The optimal strat requires having knowledge in how stalling works so you will not understand how to beat 4/20 optimally through just playing the game alone although that goes for every fnaf game minus 3. Like I said, I beat this mode first try on steam after having beaten it twice on mobile. The mode is genuinely not hard when you know how to play it. There is some RNG in this mode with foxy though it is not that bad at all, you'd have to have crazy bad luck to die to it. I'd consider the main problem to just be the general repetitiveness of it. The mode is very easy but you still need to be doing something the entire time. Other games give you small breathers, this game does not and it's still considered a super easy mode. A youtuber called Bones5 beat a 6 hour long version of this mode and I am genuinely so shocked that that was possible. That sounds like it'd give major hand problems. Overall, a good first addition to the series and one of the 2 games in the series to really focus on this style of 'anticipation horror'. 9/10, first playthrough in mind.
