We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
Writing this review from the perspective of a Steam Deck player. With that in mind, I don't recommend this. FNAF 2 might be considered Verified, but that doesn't mean playing it on Steam Deck isn't completely suboptimal as things are. Compared to somebody playing on a standard desktop PC, you have way less precision, even with gyro. Gyro doesn't support the same necessary quick reaction time to juggle between throwing on that f*cka*s Freddy mask, winding up the music box, checking the vent lights, and flashing the hallway for Foxy back to back to back. Hell, even playing on console is more ideal, because at least there, there're dedicated buttons for putting on the mask and flipping up the camera. Despite playing on what's essentially a controller on Deck, you won't be given the same luxury and'll have to slog through the latter nights hoping the gyro controls accommodate the lightning fast reaction times FNAF 2 demands of you. If there were options for players on PC that are stuck with controllers, then maybe I could understand the Steam Deck verification, but as it is? Avoid FNAF 2 on Deck, hard. FNAF 1 and FNAF 3 are much better for it, way fewer moving parts and just fairer games in general. Same applies to Sister Location.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I have been playing Five Nights at Freddy's 2 since I was around six or seven years old on my phone, and I have been part of the FNaF community since around late 2016. I still really enjoy this game and definitely recommend it, but there is one major problem I have with it: Night 6 is way too difficult. I recently tried making a YouTube video on this game, and I had absolutely no problem with Nights 1 through 5. I did not die once. Then I reached Night 6 and suddenly started dying over and over again, mostly because of Foxy. You can have multiple animatronics coming into your office at almost the exact same time, while you are also trying to keep the music box wound up. There just does not seem to be enough time to deal with everything at once, especially when Foxy is already attacking. I understand that the later nights are supposed to be difficult, but Night 6 feels like a massive jump in difficulty compared to the first five nights. It can feel more frustrating than challenging, especially when you know exactly what you are supposed to do but simply do not have enough time to do everything. Besides that, I still really enjoy FNaF 2. It has a lot of memorable animatronics, the gameplay is still fun, and it is one of the games that made me really interested in the FNaF series in the first place. I do think it could use an official remaster at this point, though. The game is getting pretty old and has a very retro look now. I would love to see an official remaster with improved graphics, updated models, and maybe some small improvements to the gameplay while keeping the original game intact. Especially with the FNaF movies coming out, I think an official remaster of the older games would be really cool. Overall, I definitely recommend Five Nights at Freddy's 2. It is still a really good game after all these years, but I really wish Night 6 was either slightly easier or better balanced. An official remaster would also be really nice to see someday.
