Reviews
I have been a customer of Fishing Planet since 2017. I have approximately 800+ hours in the game and own approximately 40 of their DLC packages. I have invested a substantial amount of my own money into this game over the years because I genuinely enjoyed playing it and supporting the developers. That is why the way these issues have been handled is extremely frustrating. When problems occur because of game bugs, server issues, or other problems within the developer's control, I have repeatedly been told that they are not responsible for the resulting loss of items or value. Instead of receiving a reasonable resolution, I have experienced repeated arguments, changing explanations, and what I believe are attempts to shift responsibility back onto the customer. One example involves in-game currency and account security. Even when a player is using a platform that the game requires or encourages them to link to their account, the position presented to customers can effectively become that any resulting loss is solely the customer's responsibility. I believe Steam should review the applicable policies and the representations made to customers in these circumstances. Another major concern is the amount of money required for some DLC. A DLC package can cost approximately $60, yet the associated content can be affected by significant bugs. For example, I have experienced issues involving boats behaving abnormally and equipment being lost or affected as a result of game problems. When customers lose something they paid real money for because of a game defect, I believe there should be a reasonable process for correcting that loss. My concern is not that Fishing Planet is a free-to-play game. I understand that developers need to make money. My concern is paying real money for DLC and other content and then being told that the developer is not responsible when technical problems prevent the customer from properly receiving or using what they purchased. After years of supporting this game and purchasing approximately 40 DLC packages, I expected significantly better treatment when these problems occurred. At this point, I am asking Steam to independently review my purchase history, the DLC I purchased, the evidence I have collected, and my communications with Fishing Planet support. I am not asking Steam to simply take my word for everything. I am asking that the evidence be reviewed and that Steam determine whether the products and services I paid for were properly provided and whether the developer's handling of these issues complies with the applicable policies. I can provide screenshots, support conversations, purchase records, and other documentation supporting my complaint. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter.

When you buy a DLC you don't get to actually unlock the place in the DLC you paid for. You get a pass for 30 days depending on which one you buy. I have no idea why they would make you pay $50 for a DLC just for temporary access. Decent game if you don't spend any money on it. STAY AWAY FROM THE DLCS
extremely p2w game with too much grinding
