An epic dark fantasy where fates are decided by mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a tragic warrior who swears revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that leaves naught but calamity in its wake.

Performance podre. EU VOU LHE MATAR SQUARE ENIX
Grandioso, a la espera de un FF XVII
I have finished the game once (have not yet started NG+). Overall a great game that I enjoyed, but with some notable flaws imho. What's good & great: - Main story. Sometimes it wanted to be too serious and there are a lot of similarities with Game of Thrones, but overall I enjoyed the main storyline. - Main characters. As usual, FF don't disapoint introducing some memorable characters altough Jill felt uninspired. - Graphics - visually really good looking game with excellent combat animations. - Boss fights - as usual, FF can make great boss fights! - Combat - not perfect, but deep and satisfying combat with plenty of combos and loadouts (i.e. Eikon abilities). What's bad: - Side quests. 80% of side quests are boring fetch or kill quests with lazy dialogue or without any meaningful addition to the story or without introducing anything interesting. I would argue that cutting 60-80% of side quests would make the game BETTER. - World. Altough the world LOOKS great, it feels empty. Like a theme park with robotic, unexpressive npcs. - Unbalanced (pace, quality, story). Altough the story with its dedicated cutscenes look and feel great, the secondary cutscenes and side-quest content feels like it was written by AI. Of course, I understand that it's impossible to make a game great from sart to finish, but the lows here are really low and highs are high. That being said - I enjoyed it, and will probably do a NewGame+ run, but I will skip the side quests.
I'm still yearning for something, gazing at the moon, that's the best description for myself after finish this game. It's been nearly 5 hours after finishing the game, but my heart still pumping crazily. I certainly can't depict any kind of word to describe how excellent this game is, even though there are so many compliments flying around in my head. 15 days with 53 hours of playing, there's probably 0 minutes of boredom for me in this fantasy, and this is only my second game in this franchise, yet it still exceeds the standard line of story and gameplay as this franchise always offers to gamers. The experience from this game shall live forever in my memory, this will be count as a canon moment in my life. I would now tell generations to come that once in my lifetime I've played a game that is so meaningful and worthwhile like this, it's totally my honor that I've decided to play this masterpiece by myself and ignore any negative comments provided. For how long now that I've not lost my tears to a game? Even I myself can't remember. Those lost tears are full with my emotions that can't be comprehended by words. And they poured out endlessly when the journey ended. I'm absolutely grateful that I played this masterpiece. I'm so glad that it was this game that came into my life at this certain moment. One of the best choices I've ever made in my entire life. I owe you a debt now, Clive Rosfield, Jill Warrick, Joshua Rosfield, Cidolfus, and of course, Final Fantasy. Arigato for this unforgettable experience that can't be found from elsewhere. Always cherished in memory, and forever in the heart.
This game is REALLY good when it's doing things right. It gives me old school power fantasy vibes, reminding me of games like Prototype and feels like a throwback to that era of gaming. The protagonist is a gigachad, but in the ways a gigachad should be. Honorable, patient, protective, but what I really love about him is that he is NOT going to pull punches. If he thinks you're evil, you're getting killed violently. I think the biggest gripe is the slog of side quests, they really ruin the pacing. This game has the best cinematic moments I've ever seen in a video game, but some of the most mundane, eye-rolling bulletin board quest design as well. It really ruins the pacing. However, the high highs of this game outweigh the low, and the highs are HIGH. I know this game is divisive amongst FF fans, but I was not expecting to like this game as much as I have. It's such a spectacle to behold.
Very good movie
This is my first game in the Final Fantasy series, and I’m loving it so far! The combat is soooo good, and the cinematic cutscenes are absolutely incredible. The game runs like a charm, and I haven’t had any issues with performance. I also really appreciate that there isn’t a ton of unnecessary bloat in the semi-linear open world. The story is really appealing and does a great job of developing its characters through dialogue, quests, and the events of the story. It actually makes the characters feel important rather than just being there to move the plot along. So far, I’m really enjoying my time with Final Fantasy XVI and I’m excited to see how the rest of the story plays out!
Just play it. Do it. It has everything you need in a game - lore, captivating story, fighting, super cool Eikons, etc. The thing about FF games is that each one is already leagues ahead of most AAA games coming out these days. They know how to create characters you grow to care about and are vested in. This game might not be the best in the franchise but it is still beyond what most games will give you. Everything looks great, runs smoothly, and allows you to experience a beautiful (albeit dark) world that leaves you wishing for more. Cannot wait to replay it in + mode!
A criminally bad Final Fantasy, outside of the "Oooh Sparkly" moments. There's nothing here reminiscent of any of the FF franchise. There's no class choices, there's no party, there's barely magic. The entire game you have this certain sense that it has to get better at some point, and it just never does. Combat is mediocre at best, and there's no real thought that needs to go into it. Story pacing was by far the worst of the issues here, however. For a game series known to have deep combat systems, classes, and the like for some time...this just misses the mark of everything that made Final Fantasy into what it is. Pass on this, unless you really like the Eidolon fights, I guess?
Pontos fracos: - Gameplay enjoativa - Péssima otimização - Clive é pouco carismático - Devil May Cry da shopee Pontos fortes: - BEIJO G4Y ENTRE DOIS CAVALEIROS (MUITO FODA)
