FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE

Final Fantasy VII Remake is absolutely fantastic. The graphics are stunning, Midgar feels alive and detailed, and the classic story is deepened with epic cutscenes. The combat system is excellent. The characters are vibrant, and the music remains iconic. It's a bit linear at times, but overall, it's a memorable experience for both old and new fans.

Garbage

Hated chapter 16 time waste. The dumb lobby with tifa slowly moving around the lights and the 59 flights of stairs made me hate this game. Also as a fan of the original game they ruined the music. In some areas the music is horrible and feels out of place. Also not a fan of the combat system. Rather it just be turn base if I'm constantly just healing my team. This could have been so much better and if they just cut out all the time waste crap. The game would probably be 1/3rd the length. I cannot recommend due to all the wasted filler crap in this game to pad out the length. I quickly became sick of the pointless feeling side tasks as well.. None of the special hidden things to find even really matter since your spending most of your time healing in battle. Skip it and just watch a highlight video of the game.

This game does not respect your time. The plot has no stakes because everything goes and any random bs can happen at any time. Moving about or 'exploring' is just busy work where you wait for you character to finish an unnecessarily slow action or some random bs staggers you and you have to just wait it out again to do more meaningless stuff. Pure nostalgy bait. Absolutely horrible as a game and not worth your time.

It's an interesting remake of FF7, adds a bit of character details and provides a character reason for Cloud to stick with Avalanche.
