FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

I absolutely love this game. I was very skeptical about the idea of a greatly expanded trilogy of games, but the modern upgrade gives all the classic locations so much room to breathe and feel like real places. All the characters are so well fleshed out and the voice acting is great. The game is still filled with lots of goofy Final Fantasy moments, but also gives each character a chance to really come into their own. The combat isn't too different from the first, but that's okay because I really enjoy it. The game is stunning and the way they handle the world map is great. Overall an absolute phenomenal achievement and I can't wait for part 3. This is the best way to play one of my all time favorite games from childhood.

Rebirth is what a remake should aspire to be: respectful without being constrained by reverence. Its combat is deep, expressive, and endlessly satisfying, the cast has never felt more alive, and its soundtrack is nothing short of exceptional. The open-world checklist design isn't always inspired, but when the game focuses on its characters, story, and combat, it reaches heights few modern RPGs can match. A remarkable reimagining of one of gaming's greatest stories.

最初のボスの特定のタイミングで確実にフリーズするので詰み 今まで様々なゲームタイトルで遊んできたけど、こういうことが起こったのはこのゲームが初めて むやみやたらに綺麗にして重くしすぎるのも考えもの

Beautiful game with too much bloat and the story is a mess. These new games don't come even close to the original.
