FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH

I really liked FF7 Rebirth. Open-world games usually aren't my thing, but this game has so much to offer. There are a ton of things to do, and it feels like there's always something worth checking out. At first, I got tired of all the side content because I was treating it like another checklist to clear. Eventually I realized that wasn't the best way to play it. Once I stopped worrying about clearing all the quest and just focused on having fun, I enjoyed the game a lot more. I can't really complain about a game having too much to do. I still like FF7 Remake a little more because I preferred its pacing, but Rebirth is a great sequel that builds on everything the first game did well. If you're willing to take your time and enjoy what it offers, there's a lot to love here.

No game better than an FFVII game. Geek about the details or sit back and watch the story. It's relatable fantasy; corrupt governments in bed with greedy corporations, powerful unempathetic people thinking they know all the answers, scientists never asking if they "should", mental health issues, harming the environment issues, humans vs aliens, humans vs themselves, kids joining the military for glory but learning they're just used as disposable subjects, some people struggling to eat while others struggling to decide what to wear to a date, people being complicit vs. being heroic vs being selfish and everything in between, and good people trying to clean up the mess left by all the rest...it's all here. The original FFVII broke the glass ceiling of games in it's day, and the remake series is expanding it. I just wish I had enough money to have a setup capable of keeping up with the graphics at it's best; dang Shinra!
