1) if you want to play with mouse and keyboard check that you don't have a controller plugged in because it was causing me some problems with the aiming 2) It's a fun but short top down shooter with a good style . Bunch of weapons and bunch of ennemies to shoot. Once you know the game principles and find your favorite weapon or weapons , it won't be too hard to reach the end of the game even if sometimes you can fall in some sort of bullet hell. So for its price the game is worth it because you can enjoy an afternoon playing it. But: - I've not tried the multi so i can't say if it works or not. - the achievements seem to be broken, partially at least : you can get the first ones ( low multiplier etc... ) then they don't unlock anymore - the final stage isn't like the rest of the game , it's a die and retry so if you're playing for the score you have to learn the game by heart or be very very good
A cool artstyle, some nice music and fun dialogue won't save Final Directive from being a frustrating mess. Every level has a very similar layout with the same tight hallways spammed by bullets. It's almost impossible to see what you're getting hit by and you have so little health that it's easy to get one- or two-shot. The dodge roll is also bad and only serves to get you in more trouble as it's hard to control. Couple all this with a massive screen shake every time you take damage and what you get is a twin-stick shooter in the worst way - no, thank you.

A true gem. Absolute blast to play with excellent core mechanics. Weapons are fun and the free range system is great in an unrestricted way. Great colors. Sound and music hit the mark for what the game is. Cute story and replayability is covered by an endless wave option with 2 player local co-op also. Definitely has potential for a sequel with the games mechanics. Devs please make a sequel and build on what you have here.
Feels like playing a mixture of Enter the Gungeon and Hotline Miami. It's fast, has a good soundtrack and every hit feels so rewarding. Definitely recommendable!
Aiming with the mouse is a ♥♥♥♥♥, but graphics & sounds are grand!
I'm just a few hours in, but can heartily recommend this nuclear-throne-clone. Superb value for it's very low price tag.
good but i wish i could get the ost somewhere.
I couldn't design worse controls if I tried
When I downloaded it 2 years ago it ran very well. However when I open it recently it doesnt display the actual level. The arrows and the hud is present but the characters and sounds are missing. the music still plays but im not sure what is causing the other problems.
Aids is more fun to play around with.
