Fears to Fathom - Home Alone

Good game. It's short but pretty scary. You play as a 14-year-old boy who's home alone while his parents are away on a work trip. Like with every horror fiction, there has to be a horror, and that horror is someone... or rather, "something," breaking into his house. It feels more like a creature than a person. Your goal is to survive until the police arrive. The only thing I didn't like is that every time you die, everything resets, which got a bit annoying, but looking at a good perspetive.. it can feel scary rather than something annoying to some others, for me it was annoying. Other than that, it's a solid simple game. The graphics look good, the sound quality is great, and it does a good job of brining tension. Overall I'd rate this episode of the anthology 7/10, great character.. but basic "home alone & Intruder" story. Overall, I'd rate the game mechanics a 5/10. There's no way to pause the game or access the settings while you're playing. There's also no autosave or manual save option, so if you die, you have to start the whole game over again. I don't know if it's just me, but the movement also feels a bit glitchy at times. but again this episode is free.. so.. who the ♥♥♥♥ cares? just play it.
