Fated word: Damnation As with all of Randumb games, this inspired some interesting conversation and more than a few laughs. Thanks once again :)
Secret Word: Redemption Fateweaver: The Alchemist's Quandary offers a unique perspective from previous works that Randumb Studios has produced, which is taking the role of a Fateweaver and asking questions instead of answering them. I particularly enjoyed how asking the right question showed more about you than it did the one being asked. Highly anticipating future titles in this episodic series!

Fated Word: Redemption Ah, I think this was the sweetest game so far. Well, maybe with the exception of the Familiar one, but who could resist that particular game anyhow? Certainly not me. :-D (Though I am still slightly pouting over my result. Part of the fun though, haha!) Anyhow, I loved that this game allowed us to ask questions for once! What a delight! Highly recommend this, made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside at the result. <3 Also great way to appreciate Markus in my humble opinion!
Another one wear I am asking the questions. A lovely story to boot. I have to say the pass or smash version of this left a bad taste in my mouth, but this one brought a Redemption to the fate weaver title. Now with that revelation of the word out of the way it's a good game. Keep up the good work devs.
Fated Word:Redemption It felt good to be on the opposite end of the questionnaire, and the interactions were very down to earth. I choose to give him a good fate, mostly because I could sympathize with him. I loved the ended and the promise of 51(at the time of writing this) new episodes sounds very intriguing and what I am wondering is how will this play into Chasing Demons, my current theory is that through this choices we are choosing the difficulty of the world. The ending I got (spoilers) it said that the Alchemist gave out potions for strength, luck, and many other potions for free. This makes me think that maybe the alchemist would be in Chasing Demons and give out free potions. This would break balancing though, so the theory is a bit shaky as it is.
The Fateweaver series takes the tried and true Randumb games formula and flips it on its head. Instead of asking the player a series of questions and giving a reading the game has the player ask the questions and pass judgement on the soul of the protagonist. It's a different experience having the burden of choice instead of just answering honestly and I had a lot of fun getting to know Markus. This is first of fifty-two planned titles and I'm excited to see the host of characters that emerge from this series. Secret Word: Redemption Below is the fate I chose for Markus and why, so if you haven't played the game yet please don't spoil yourself.
I choose to weave a "blessed" fate for Markus. Tho he had some red flags with his tendency to get in his own head and would turn to his cups, his resolve to restore his Father's legacy and drive to be be best pulled him back to reality. He convinced me that he genuinely wanted to do the right thing and would work to make the world a better place. To admit some bias I saw bits of myself in Markus as I also aspires to be the best at what I do, am a workaholic, and have the tendency to lose myself in a vice when I lose sight of my goals. One thing I was hoping when I wove Markus's fate was that I would be able to influence the outcome in some way, I had designs of getting Markus to find fulfillment outside of alchemy but overall I was happy with my decision and Markus re payed my trust and favor when he named the new medicine after me showing he understood where his fortune had come from.
My Fated Word was Redemption. It's cool to be the one asking the Questions and find out what kind of person Markus is. I definitely enjoyed the game and I'm looking forward to playing the next game in the Fateweaver series.
Same problems like "Fateweaver: Smash or Pass". Plot is not captivating, easily guessed answers and ending.
The word I got is: Redemption
