game has no business being this fun
Love this game and really happy that they're cross platform now!
nice
Confusing.
COC condems usage of auto clickers , then you click the explorer tab and see the top explorers of the day 8m clicks , 7m clicks and they condem usage of auto clickers , ahahahah gimme a break devs either you ban all or just remove this nonsense of coc. The game is kind fun but the grind is real unless you pay....
Randomly Banned? I know I wasn't checking it every day but now it's banned and I'm confused. Emailed team but I've read enough about these guys that this is getting out of hand. Glad I hadn't dumped any money into this game.
The game is okay, I played it long time over years in browser/phone version. However it cannot be really recommended due to their egregiously aggressive monetization. So if you don't care about that, feel free to play anyways, but be warned. Dev's idea of "event", "celebration", and such is....to make July 4 themed event, that starts at July 4. But if you are not a player that buys July money-pack, you are locked out of event for at least 10 more days, so half of the event duration is gone when you are able to participate. I have NEVER seen such paywall in ANY other game that does community/seasonal events. Patreon subscribers can start the event at July 1 as "testers", that is somewhat okay, though in my eyes it is just another malpractice, instead of devs paying a tester, they take money from players to do that job (meanwhile they are so proud that they don't replace artists with AI, but not paying testers is somehow okay), and those players have even higher headsup on event currencies. Community is somewhat okay gameplay-wise, but they will white knight all the poor dev decisions whatsoever, and any real discussion or criticism is quickly silenced or banned by admins. The game is heavily pay2win centralised around skip-items, and even if you can opt to not use those and just play at your own pace, you will get bombarded by tasks that are time limited (though you can do them next year if you don't manage, but at that point there is new batch of tasks to do as well) and you will find yourself in either having to be literal slave 24/7 doing stuff, or having to use those pay2win items to keep up. The monthly packs behave like optional subscriptions (that aren't really optional when they lock out from events), but the game is centered around advertising them. When devs send notifications for phone users, 90% of time it is about "please buy this new thing"... There is also a lot of FOMO trickery, play daily or pay premium currency for skipped days. You are expected to play daily extensively, not as a fun thing but as a job. Even though premium currency comes from quests or can be traded with others, if you want to be serious about the game, you should either expect years of slavery for the currency, selling all your profits...or using A LOT of real money. Fancy ingame trading? The mailbox starts at 10 capacity and you have to use hundreds of dollars worth of premium currency to make it usable in size. On top of that, the game is quite grindy, it is a lot of clicking and going around, Quality of Life updates are mostly just if the new thing can be sold for premium currency somehow.
