This is my first Far Cry and I really enjoyed the game being in Montana. Exploring, fishing, collecting, and clearing out cultists was pretty fun. There was plenty to do. I’m a person who doesn’t like traveling alone in games so having all these companions was cool. The fangs ones are all cute <3 The constant kidnappings drove me insane a bit so be prepared for that. Doesn’t matter if you are flying in the air or trying to swim away lol. You’ll get caught. And the finale? I don’t even know what to say. I’m just going to go straight into New Dawn and see what has happened after 17 years lol. Anyways I got the gold edition of this for like $13 bucks awhile back but I would have definitely paid more.

I don't get how this game has so many positive reviews. This is the most boring Far Cry I've ever played. It feels like they didn't put any effort into it at all, to the point where enemy NPCs all use the exact same weapons. Hardly any mission is creative, it's almost always just "go and destroy the enemy base." Not to mention that for better vehicles and weapons, they ask you to pay extra for some in-game credits to buy them. Honestly, I regret spending money on this even though I bought it on sale. But if you literally have nothing else to play in co-op, it's okay just to kill some time.

Far Cry 5 is now in my Top 10 games list. It's like the main story for the main stories keep getting better and better. It introduces new mechanics and new features like a reworked weapon wheel (also called the weapon menu if you're playing on keyboard and mouse) and it feels very unique to the game. There's also way too much to do in this game since it's more open-world friendly and the main story doesn't feel slow paced at all. Speaking of the story, it got me feeling for some of the characters in the game. Almost feels like Ubisoft actually cares about this game compared to their other titles. The gunplay compared to Far Cry 4 is better, but it still isn't as good as one would expect it to be. Graphics also look amazing but not too surprising since almost all Ubisoft games are pretty much like that. Overall Rating: 9.3/10

predictable story and surface level characters

Super duper arcade shooter. Very simple and boring game with cool cutscenes. Not my type...just don't like it. FarCry for me always was about surviving...this game is more like GTA but with super simple physics and super simple everything. In co-op your team can't travel free, they must stay close to you or they will die and will be teleported to host player.
