This is why you need to get off that damn phone!
I really enjoyed this game! It was easy to play on my steam deck too, I just had to remap a couple keys, and this is a game that has the controls listed in the pause menu so it was really easy. Very spooooooky and very sad, definitely going to be one I replay.
Short indie horror with a decent story setup and a focus on aftermath rather than scares. 6/10

Face of Another ended up being one of my favorite indie horror games I’ve played in a while! It’s one of those games that understands atmosphere first instead of relying purely on cheap jumpscares and it absolutely benefits from that. The visuals are easily one of the strongest parts of the game. The moments where the “enemy” appears are genuinely disturbing. The photographing mechanic is also a huge standout. A lot of indie horror games introduce a mechanic that ends up feeling underused, but here it actually stays engaging throughout the experience and adds tension instead of slowing the pacing down. What I appreciated most is how committed the game is to its mood. There’s this constant sense of discomfort and unease, and even quieter sections feel tense. The sound design deserves a lot of credit for that too. That said, I came across a weird bug twice when collecting the eyes towards the end of the game where I couldn't pick them up. I'll link my VOD with a timestamp here, I didn't see anyone else in the reviews talking about it. I was able to fix it by reloading the last checkpoint and collecting all the eyes before putting them into the door. https://youtu.be/h3PsZoYrSF4?si=lyY1JI4Tdujs5zBm&t=8103 (2:15:03 & 2:18:25) Overall, I’d absolutely recommend giving this one a shot. I can't wait for more games of this dev in the future!
This dev's games are getting better and better. I already loved Microbial Sector but this one here was amazing. I played so many of these kind of games but this one kept me on the edge the whole time. I was outright terrified because of the subtle dread in every corner. Great game, good story. Can't wait to see the next game. The demo was already so promising. It's someone with creative fresh ideas and a hand for atmosphere instead of lame jumpscares and asset fests.
하나도 안무섭습니다. 하지만 재밌었습니다!
Good
Technology entity coming out to reality just to scare is something.. Everything is good except the jump scare factor but overall game is good and all that aside only that I only needs better scares is not to do sound cues alot in fairness
