F2 A! Idle Army

Idle & Incremental Lovers doesn't recommend F2 A! Idle Army: [i] I played this one so you don't have to. I'm not used to be harsh but art is ugly, rules are unclear, upgrades have the same "numbers go up" structure for each unit and gameplay is insanely boring. [/i] + Good thing is you have a speed x3 button, so it shortens your suffering. + No "runs" but a continuous battle, not interrupted even when you're upgrading. I like this formula, keeps the pace going. - No introduction, no tutorial, unclear rules, zero lore or atmosphere (dinosaurs are mixed with zombies and thiefs!). - Uninspired upgrade structure. - The thing is, I really didn't care about the game. It did nothing to retain my attention. So after a few upgrades, when I realized how bland it was, I let it running for hours, came back, bought all upgrades and won the game. Ending wasn't even satisfying. *Why is the army so strict about their uniforms? To minimize casual tees.* Found this review helpful? [h3]A simple idle battle simulator where a budding ruler fights against the hordes of destruction. A complete package, with the usual fantasy tropes included...[/h3] As clicker games go this is a good albeit limited experience of how to see a number of numbers go incrementally up. In F2A Idle Army your theme is the good old fantasy kingdoms where warfare against the invading hordes of fantasy creatures is constant, and you need a steady stream of warriors, rogues and mages to stem the tide before it overwhelms your screen in all its rampaging glory. I wish there were more to say about this game, but in the end this is just a good idle-game where you select upgrades on a map and a stream of combatants file in from each side of the screen to duke it out on the battlefield. Your choices are quite limited and there are no loss-conditions, so in the end you are more or less just making a bigger and bigger swarm of warfighters smashing like waves on the horde of orcish thugs and their masters. The graphics are pixelated and reminds me of old-school RPGs and fits the theme, but the battlefields are more or less nonexistent, being just a swab of paint and some random tufts thrown in here and there. [b]Conclusion:[/b] A solid albeit rather short idler game that does what it says on the tin! If you like incremental games, this is not a bad one.
