About
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities. The multiplayer component for this expansion is no longer available.

Completato in circa 4 ore, godibilissimo.
Great expansion, some new levels and fearsome hallways and a metro-section which is cool. Short but for cheap it's worth your money.

Warner Bros: Can we have F.E.A.R.? Vivendi: No, we have F.E.A.R. at home. F.E.A.R. at home: ...
This feels like a game built around the idea of making you think you dreamed your own helicopter rescue. In this franchise, helicopters are basically disposable, so stepping into one is never a good sign. The game also tries to teach you the art of corridor design. The corridors here feel even more lazy and boxy than in the original, basically stitched together from reused assets and prefab rooms. Some areas are cluttered in such a random way that you’d rather rush through than risk breaking the atmosphere any further. And just when you think it couldn’t get worse, it throws in cliché gameplay loops that force you to backtrack through the same corridors over and over again.

You see on a monitor that there’s an elevator at the end of the corridor
Go all the way back to the start of the corridor to activate it!
Oh no, enemies respawn along the way!
You fight your way back through the same corridor again
You finally reach the elevator and step inside
Whoah! The elevator immediately drops!
Congrats, you’ve now reached the deepest level of the facility
Now please find your way back again!
It’s exhausting. It really feels like a game released just because the publisher had access to the license. If I ever replay the F.E.A.R. series, this so-called expansion is probably getting skipped, because it brings nothing new to the story.
rlly good expasion that is almost as a masterpiece as the original game. just too short i think
Glad I took the time to finally give this game the time of day was worth playing. But you must download the EchoPatch from the creator Wemino from github for you to truly enjoy this game in 2026.

Made by people who didn't get what made the first game great. It's like a skinwalker wearing your loved ones' flesh while speaking in broken English. Completely lacks the atmosphere and evironmental storytelling that made F.E.A.R. good, and instead replaces it with poorly paced and balanced massive environments where the ai's aimbot completely ruins the experience. I completed it on extreme and the last three chapters felt like a slog, just to get the most unsatisfying and predictable ending I've ever experienced I think.
