It's judo on a minefield! Tech the grab or die, in this fast-paced 3D fighting game where every! single! throw! is lethal!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
From the creator of Schwarzerblitz and Motionsickness, here comes a new, fast paced, explosive, 1v1 fighting game, where every grab is lethal. Roll around, wait for an opening and smash your opponent on the tarmac (explosions might ensue)!
Grabs are the way, but this doesn't mean one cannot fight dirty! Each character has a super move at their disposal, be it an invincible grab, a counter attack or a full screen pew pew laser, that immediately seals the match.
Use strikes to create grab opportunities, roll around the stage to position yourself, grab at the right moment to seal the deal. No block, no rest, only movement, fundamentals and a generous amount of dirt. Do you have what it takes to become the master of Exploding Judo?
full 3D movement with the help of a Roll button. This is a five buttons game (punch, kick, grab, dash, roll) with emphasis on dodging and grabbing
13 standard characters plus 3 unlockable boss characters and an annoying gun-headed goon that cannot beat the champ even if he tries his best (well, unless he gets really, REALLY lucky with a random grab)
arcade mode, survival mode and time attack mode
ten stages plus the classic grid (duh) and an extra green screen stage for photobashing shenanigans
local versus (online modes unfortunately not planned)
tutorial and training mode
a psychopathic dabbing killer robot reinstalled into a bunny droid body (which is actually canon)
a giant kaiju robot with plasma chainsaws and a full screen laser (which is ALSO canon, if you care about this sort of stuff)
the one and only Callowman from Duels of Fortune as a special playable guest character!
and also Dana Zane from the visual novel VA-11 Hall-A, ready to mix drinks and smash lives!

Exploding Judo Federation is a surprisingly deep fighting game hiding underneath the veneer of meme fighter. The premise "One grab (and nothing else) kills" at first glance puts into mind thoughts of games like Footsies: An aspect of fighting games, distilled and concentrated into a single gimmick that then becomes the foundation of a whole game. And upon first trying the game at a tournament, the vibe was a similar one: A Party Fighter. Everyone was rolling around, mashing raw grabs and occasionally triggering a special ability after landing a few non-grab stray hits. It was undiluted and fun chaos! I didn't think it was much deeper than that. I was wrong. Having now spent more time with the game, further layers did open up bit by bit. First was your typical 3D fighting game movement and area denial. Normals still beating grabs means the game suddenly turns a lot more defensive. Then came combo-ing into simple grabs, bringing the needed response to the offense. Suddenly the characters began feeling really distinct beyond their supers and basic movement. Being able to confirm into a grab super fast or with varied timing or grabs, or being able grab at a large distance, being able to build a lot of meter fast, having invulnerabilities or movement associated with attacks to set up dodges or undefendable back-grabs, it all begins to matter more and more. Or rather, we finally noticed it mattered all along. Down the rabbit hole. One of the game's biggest flaws, the fact that none of this depth was readily visible to us at the start, has been completely fixed with version 1.2 adding a trial mode and character tutorials that display a lot of the cool tech on offer for each character. And again, the game's feel has turned in response. Now with the full effectiveness of combos visible and therefore more available, suddenly it feels like a full-on 3D Fighting Game where you got only a few combos you can eat ere you'll have lost for sure. Evolving from the distilled idea all the way back to a fully formed game. A fun, chaotic "party fighter" at the start, a full fighting game one can be seriously invested in by the end, or rather the new beginning. What a journey. And all for the low, low price of absolutely FREE. I will make certain this will be a mainstay for side events at the local tournaments.

It's a good videogame.
Criminally terrible, you can just press the skill button and win. all me and my cousin did playing this game was press the skill button and win, absolute ♥♥♥♥ dude. The models are terrible ( i know it is low-poly but DAMN are they not good. ), Gameplay not even fun in the slightest. Only fun coming from the game was on how bad the game is, 0/10, do not waste your time playing. So bad of a game we had to stop playing early 😭

Поначалу было весело, но я начал играть, чтобы получить платиновый трофей, и в итоге мне стало скучно, я получил платину от глубокой скуки, поэтому я и подумал, что игра отстой, даже после получения платинового трофея
Hello! I tested the game because i recently got into judo. I've only had 3 classes so far but its been fun. The reason for which i picked this game is that there are basically no judo games. which saddens me because i would love a good game for my hobby. Enough about me. The game is like Streetfighter or Mortal Kombat u fight by doing various combinations of moves Etc. i wish the game focused more on Throws, sweeps and ground techniques like osotogari, ogoshi and kata gatame. instead the game has none of that instead it focuses on strikes. i also wish that esc would make u go to the main menu or at least a screen that gives u choices like options, main menu, exit. also why is the mouse not used in he game? it could be used to navigate smoothly through the menus instead u press c or whatever. the graphics were also definitely slept on i wish they were higher quality aside all of that it's got potential and i don't mean any of this as hate Goodluck to you're game and Happy New Year!!
