By no means is this a completed product... On the other hand there is a LOT of fun to be had here, which is something i cant honestly say about EU4 on launch. As a man with 2800hrs on EU4 I can say 2 things with 100% certainty 1. That EU4 has been out so long and I have played it so much that it genuinely gets boring as soon as reach critical mass on your nation, 2. This game doesnt If you have the RTS, Empire building/Economy building itch and everything else isn't doing it for you, this game will scratch that itch.
I like the game its not perfect but i dont think it should be getting such harsh reviews

While I think it was released far too early and with barebones content and first-draft systems implementation, I think this is a great shift in approach after EU 4. Have played 2 campaigns to the late 1700s and looking forward to a third one when 1.3 releases out of beta.
