Got it for the childhood feels. I know the art is so bad and and the puzzles are too easy but c'mon man, I loved it when I was 10 and I still like it. The story has that tone of cringyness but the diversity of the puzzles makes it still enjoyable.
I played this back around the time it came out and I remember it being so good, it holds up to what I remember, it's a good game, what most dont know and it's not on steam but there is actually a second game
I can hardy find items because of bad quality, low resolution and dark background graphics but puzzles overall not bad. game is not as enjoyable as similar hog games in Steam.

Das Spiel hat mir ein Kollege geschenkt da Er mich dieses Juwels beglücken wollte. Ich muss sagen die Richtung, die das Game gehen will, ist Super. Straight Up Wimmelbilderchaos from the get-go in einer Super spannenden Story die mich mitgenommen hat.
This is an older, but decent game. Thin storyline, and the HO scenes are very cluttered. The developers missed out on a huge opportunity with the HO scenes your boss (the museum director) assigns you. Get this when it's discounted (I got it for a buck); otherwise pass and spend your money on something higher quality.
Let's be honest here, the graphics are god awful and half of the objects are unrecognizable. NOW, I had this game on the DS lite and vomited playing this during a road trip due to motion sickness. I put the game down and had never beaten it. I have to give this game a thumbs up for giving me the opportunity to redeem myself from my childhood for the sweet price of 1 american dollar. this game is dated and feels like a port from the ds lite to pc. If you are in the mood for nostalgic old games like this try mortimer becket 1-3. I was playing that on XP before half the people expecting gold from this game were out of diapers. And dont 100% the game, it's not fun and will probably piss you off.
Horrible game, 800x600 resolution stretched, blurry objects, an annoying accuracy meter. The hidden object scenes are a pain to play and the game is just hidden object scenes. Miss the small blurry object by 1 pixel and you get penalised on the accuracy meter. The game is too stupid to create a new screen instance instead it will resize your desktop in the background to 800x600 causing all of your windows to resize and icons to move around. It also doesn't play nice with Steam, I had to exit Steam with a count-down timer whilst Steam tried to kill a process that didn't exist. Playing this game is painful, avoid it, don't buy it.
This would be a pretty decent HOG if it weren't for the extreme low res. This game needs a HD remaster to be enjoyable. I had to sit really close to the monitor and squint to pick up some of the objects. Oh, and sometimes objects were partly hidden behind the UI, which I find quite unfair. The hint system is good, though, and since there are no Steam achievements it doesn't matter that I used it quite liberally. Who cares about the accuracy score, right? (I also find it kind of funny that you're supposed to save invaluable museum artifacts - while breaking quite a few others. Oh well. I don't expect an awesome plot in these kinds of games) Also, when I quit the game Steam doesn't register it and I have to force quit Steam to get rid of the "running" status. :(
An old unfair HOG that was a real chore to finish. i almost never use the hint button..... but this game made me press it so often....... i just wanted to get over with it -.-" i am glad that the recharge time wasn't too long..... Pros. ok voice acting for its age ok game playtime a almost 3 hours and 40 minutes cons. very low resolution the hidden objects in the hidden object scenes are very well hidden. very unfair they even changed their colors to blend it in perfectly. even made it MUCH darker to hide it in the shadows or even hid it behind the UI... what is this all about?? got pretty boring and repetitive after some time i only recommend this game on a mega high discount or from a bundle. otherwise if you are not a hardcore HOG fan like my self... STAY AWAY. I give it 2/10 just for the voice acting and the "puzzle" part. i have never said that about a game after i finished it before.....but i really shouted F*** this game xD
Pros +Hand drawn cut scene images had some charm +Average story & voice overs Cons +Blurry / low res graphics +Bad item placement +Some scenes are too dark +Repetitive (room after room, re-visit some multiple times) A frustrating experience with low-res / blurry graphics. It’s nearly impossible to find some of the items, which could be due to them being partially obscured by the GUI or faded to match the surrounding area. Normally this isn’t too big of a problem but with the terrible graphics, everything looks like a blurry mess. The hidden object scenes are a bulk of the game. There are a few additional “puzzles” like matching the weight of an object, placing the missing pieces of a painting and finding 10 of the same object. You’ll be returning to the same scene up to 4 times, so things get repetitive. I think there is a single music track (or at least it felt like it) so that can get annoying if you’re in a scene for too long. The story is ok, an earthquake happened while you’re in a museum and you must work through each room to get your daughter and escape. There are some people you interact with over the phone. One of them wants you to collect items to preserve them. This basically sets up why you have hidden object scenes. But then the items you collect are things like a button, pen, wallet. It just makes no sense. There’s also a dollar value attached to each item you find. Why? Who knows, it has no bearing on the game. Same with the accuracy meter, which is the first time I’ve seen something like that in a HOG. Again, it has no bearing on the game. I’m proud to say I finished 100% of the museum without using a hint. I eventually had a strategy to scan the screen slowly and click on all the items regardless if it was on the list. After I finished my scan, I’d check the list to see what’s left. Searching for individual items is such a pain with the bad graphics, this seemed to work better. Conclusion I was glad when I finally finished this. If it had a higher resolution, it would have scored fairly average. But it’s such a serious issue that I can’t recommend this. 3/10 Poor
