About
Escape Simulator is a first-person puzzler you can play solo or in an online co-op. Explore a growing set of highly interactive escape rooms. Move furniture, pick up and examine everything, smash pots and break locks! Supports community-made rooms through the level editor.
Interactive Puzzles: Rummage through 28 rooms filled with puzzles designed by real-life escape room operators. If something is not nailed to the wall, you can pick it up.
Online Co-Op: All the rooms are playable in an online co-op. We recommend to play built-in rooms with up to 3 players (but you're welcome to play with more). Community rooms have been tested with up to 10 people. Customize your character and join with friends to work-out puzzles together. More heads are better than one!
Examine Everything: Read through books, examine ancient artifacts and find clues to riddles. Need to cross-reference a clue? No, problem - just pin it to the screen.
Community-Made Rooms: The game includes a room editor with which you can design your own escape rooms and puzzles. Through workshop integration, you get to play awesome things the community has created. Currently, there are more than 4000 community-rooms available!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

i cant escape it
Can I recommend this game? Kinda, but not really... I love "escape" games but will only play this one when I need a spell from survival and combat games. The game mechanics are good, and you can have fun with the various rooms in the official content... and replay them a year later (hence I have 190 hours) because there's very little "logic" in the solutions that trigger "learned memory". Quite often the logic escapes me (or there just isn't any), so for me it's only for those wet days when I'm in the mood for a little punishment... blindly searching and trying every angle until you crack a code or find a token. The bigger thrill is going back for a speed-run before you "forget the tricks". For a bit more than the price of a cappucino, but far less than coffee plus cake at the local cafe, I may get some more DLC at some stage. It's generally of a similar standard, and while some of the (free) "community content" is cool, in terms of the room concepts, it's often not "great" and turns out to be another convoluted piece of fluff. Still it can be fun to explore what people are creating --- so thank you to those that make the effort. At least they're having a go (which is more than I've done).

fun puzzles but sometimes challenging, occasional glitches where key items go into walls but save and exit will solve it
All of the official maps are very well-made and the hint system is amazing for when you get stuck. The community maps are pretty hit or miss, but usually the popular ones are functional, fun, and reasonably intuitive. Most of them will also have hints in the pause menu. Endless amounts of content via community maps! Worth every penny.
