As someone who's wanted to play escape from tarkov for over a year, finally getting my own pc and experiencing it for myself has been worth the wait. even with only 8 hours of playtime (and a lot of youtube videos beforehand), I can confidently say this game is incredible. Even with everything said, tarkov is not beginner friendly. you will die, a lot. the game explains very little, and the learning curve is one of the steepest in gaming. if you're looking for a casual shooter, this is not it. if you're willing to be patient and learn from your mistakes, try it out. I will say, use a third party map and i promise it will be useful. Good Luck!
