Solves pretty much every issue I had with EL1, and I already loved that game. So, stands to reason I love this game too.
One of the most fun 4x games I've played in a while . I can't wait for more expansions to be added.
Fantastic game so far. AI needs some rebalance to make it more aggressive, but there is lots to like in the early release version. EL1 is one of my favorite games and I suspect EL2 will one day be even better than EL1. Overall very happy with my purchase.
Brilliant game, worthy sequel of the original, vastly superior to their previous two games (Endless Space 2 and Humankind, kind of flops at least compared to Endless Legend... and now this). It hasn't left early access yet, but it easily beats many complete games in terms of polish, stability, and just quality of gameplay. The ocean receding to reveal new land, with new resources and unique terrain, is such a good mechanic. It creates the same kind of progression, of land rush and new exploration, as boats in historical games... but it is such a cool fantasy twist, and it ties in so well to the story progression and the "intensifying seasons" pace. I also enjoy the system of attaching territories to cities, one of the neat additions from Humankind (and other modern 4X games like Age of Wonders and Civ 7), and the new population system is really cool, and I like the streamlined unit upgrades and diplomacy. I enjoy the way the quest writing is now a dialogue, it was always neat but now it is both more "personal" and easier to follow during involved parts of gameplay. I think I still prefer the original's battle system, but the new one is also really good. There are some UI gripes, some things cold be easier to figure out, but nothing big and it is still improving constantly.
A very nice piece overall, well worked and continuing to be polished. Just need to nail down some last issues and it will be golden, such as the Last Lords and not being able to do anything with resources and minor factions that normally boost food production, since the Last Lords do not use food to grow.

me parece una buen juego de X4 falta esperar como se desarrolla el juego con el tiempo
Amplitude is a Nintendo studio for me. With a few hundred hours on steam alone across Endless Space 2. Currently with 76 hrs on record, I can say if you are a fan of 4X Strategy games then this is one worth your time. With recent tweaks to start positions and the rhythm of events are playing out in a wonderful fashion. A Warning for those whom this may potentially be your first Amplitude game. There are set events and narratives that are driving a playthrough, Both for the world at large (AI Factions, Minor Factions, Roaming Gangs) and your faction. Similar to a CK/CK2, EU4, etc. Events will fire/pop, you have to respond or prepare ahead of time. So far so good.
This is an amazing game, visually unique (I would say stunning). Now this is part of the early access so it won't be a long review as it isn't a full release yet. Once it is fully released I will look to do a longer review. The world and story building of the Endless serious is by far the best in the genre. Currently, I haven't had a complete play through with any faction (also part of the stunted review) but I have played them all and it is fun. Pacing can feel off, but I found that if you are a "slow" player, just jack it up to Endless (the game still plays the same you just have more time). I have only two issues I have with this game; 1). There needs to be voicing of the quests and interactions. So much amazing work went into this, it should not be lost on lazy readers or, as is my experience, take you out of the world and experience. 2). AGAIN EARLY ACCESS - There are too few factions at the minute which hamper large scale play and can interfere with how enjoyable the interactions are (before they become repetitive and predictable). I am just hoping this doesn't become a DLC fest like AoE or other well known titles. That's all for now. Still a fun game to sink hours into.
great successor of the first game , strongly recommended!
