Huge fan of EL1 and ES2 and happy to say that EL2 is fantastic. It feels a bit less "crunchy" than EL1 when it comes to the tech-tree and marketplace. But gameplay overall has been smoothed out to an amazing degree while they've designed some great asymmetrical factions. Art direction and visuals are top notch and the soundtrack is divine. A deep 4X game that's also very accessible to get into.

For those that played Endless Legend, this is shaping up to be a perfect sequel. The factions are each a really fun spin on different parts of the game. You can see the inspiration from the original games factions, but also see the changes, and differences and feel them in gameplay. The graphics, art and style are looking amazing. Content is subject to change, but I think they are on their way with a really solid formula and I am so excited to see what comes next.
