Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Eh... It's a cheap and fairly easy yet annoyingly difficult game. 7 hours to a hundred percent, but I had to start over once also as there is a little learning curve to it. Overall felt more like a math practice grind than a game. Not really a card game, though cards are used in it, kind of. Definitely a resource management game and I'm not usually a fan of that, If you are you may enjoy it more than I did. There were not any glitches that I encountered so there is that. I feel like If you want a cheap game to waste some time on there are worse ones out there but I can't recommend it. It isn't terrible, but it really didn't draw me in either. 4/10

Yes.
Empire of the Gods is a calm, methodical strategy experience that blends light historical flavor with puzzle-driven resource management. Developed and published by Lonely Troops, the game takes a deliberately minimalist approach, focusing on logical planning and efficiency rather than sprawling empire simulation or narrative spectacle. Set against an abstracted vision of ancient Egypt, it asks players to grow a civilization under divine influence through careful manipulation of resources represented entirely through cards. The core gameplay revolves around a turn-based card system in which each stage functions as a self-contained strategic puzzle. Players manage four primary resources—often interpreted as power, wealth, faith, and population—and use cards to convert, boost, or balance these values to meet specific objectives. Every card play matters, as turns are limited and inefficient decisions can quickly lead to failure. Rather than overwhelming players with complex mechanics, Empire of the Gods derives its depth from the way simple rules interact, encouraging forward planning and a clear understanding of cause and effect. Progression is structured across dozens of individual stages, each introducing new constraints or goals that subtly reshape how familiar cards are used. Early levels ease players into the system, teaching basic conversions and synergies, while later challenges demand far more precision and foresight. Success often depends on identifying optimal sequences of actions rather than reacting moment to moment, giving the game a thoughtful, almost meditative pace. The satisfaction comes from solving each scenario efficiently, watching carefully planned chains of card effects align to produce the desired outcome. Visually, the game embraces simplicity. The presentation favors clarity over detail, using icons, symbols, and stylized artwork rather than detailed environments or animated characters. Cities, monuments, and pyramids are represented abstractly, reinforcing the board-game-like feel of the experience. While modest in scope, this aesthetic choice suits the gameplay well, ensuring that information is always readable and that the player’s attention remains on strategic decisions rather than visual distraction. Audio design complements this restrained style with a subtle, atmospheric soundtrack that reinforces the game’s calm tone. Music and sound effects rarely demand attention, instead providing a gentle backdrop that supports longer play sessions without becoming repetitive or intrusive. This low-pressure presentation makes Empire of the Gods particularly well-suited for relaxed, thoughtful play rather than intense or competitive sessions. Replayability comes from both mastery and efficiency. Players are encouraged to revisit earlier stages to improve performance, complete achievements, or experiment with different card combinations. While the game does not offer branching narratives or radically different playstyles, the variety of scenarios and constraints ensures that familiar mechanics continue to feel engaging. The challenge lies less in discovering new systems and more in refining one’s understanding of how existing systems can be optimized. That said, Empire of the Gods is intentionally limited in ambition. Players seeking deep empire simulation, complex AI opponents, or evolving political systems may find the experience too narrow. The game does not attempt to model historical realism in depth, nor does it offer a sweeping narrative arc. Instead, it remains focused on delivering concise, logic-driven challenges that reward patience and careful thought. Over long sessions, the simplicity of its mechanics can feel repetitive, particularly for players craving constant novelty. Ultimately, Empire of the Gods succeeds by knowing exactly what it wants to be. It is a compact, card-based strategy puzzle that prioritizes clarity, balance, and deliberate pacing over scale or spectacle. For players who enjoy resource optimization, turn-based planning, and low-stress strategy wrapped in a light historical theme, it offers a quietly satisfying experience. While it may not redefine the genre, it stands as a solid example of how modest design goals, when executed with focus and consistency, can still deliver meaningful strategic depth. Rating: 7/10
Petit puzzle game sympa pour passer le temps. Attention toutefois pour le 100% de succès il faut maximiser son gain de Fame et ne pas utiliser les cartes bonus pour compléter les niveaux, sinon vous êtes bon pour un deuxième run !
kox
Empire of the Gods is very different from other games of the same developer. The basic rule is simple. You will use various cards to collect resources until you can use the master card. I beat the game in less than 4 hours. It's very easy.
