I spend the time to complete a timed mission and then the servers go down 30 minutes before they are scheduled to reset. Wasted time spent playing this game.

Overall it is an amazing space sim, but the grind is real. If you want to experience space and ground combat, mining, trading, exploration and more, this is the game to get. At a 1:1 "replica" of the milky way you will never run out of things to find or do. The downsides: The grind, and no VR for on-foot is a bit of a let down. Also the need for third party tools since there is an abundance of info and things to search for. The immense time it takes to master the game as well. The LY jump capability is quite limited where some journeys can take forever (E.G. getting to Colonia).

GAme is dope

Elite is the most satisfying and most complete space flight sim on the market. The flight models for each ship are varied and fun and challenging in their own ways. There is endless content and complete freedom to engage or not engage with different aspects of the game. It is absolutely beautiful at times. It is the peak of VR.
