A physics-based roguelite where the mountain is alive, the items are cursed, and collecting Eyes only makes things worse. Swing your way to the top. It won't kill you. Probably.

About
Eldritch Climb is a physics-based roguelite built around movement with unique controls. Swing from handholds, launch yourself across gaps, and cling to whatever you can find. The movement is raw and expressive, every run feels different as you get better. Master it, and the mountain becomes a playground. Don't, and it becomes a grave.
Scattered across the mountain are Eyes, a cursed currency that expands your perception. Collect enough and the world shifts. Levels mutate. Enemies evolve. Every mechanic reveals a darker variation of itself. There are three layers to everything on this mountain, and the deeper you see, the less you'll wish you had.
Puzzles are hidden in every area, quiet and strange things that don't announce themselves. Solve them and you'll enter memories: glimpses of your character, the mountain's history, and the cults that worshipped it. The lore won't be handed to you. It's buried, like everything else worth knowing here.
Loot corpses. Browse the shop. Equip items in each hand, but whatever you're gripping with, you can't use. That constraint is the whole puzzle. Find a combo that works, lean into it, and watch a run come together. Passive items soften the edges. Active ones create chaos. Usually both at once.

It can be tough! Love the art style, music, and writing. Very innovative game mechanics. I really want to see the full release to play with some of the odd ends polished, and I want to see where that story will go!
I played the two available levels and I feel there is a lot more to discover. The balance of Lovecraftian horror, comedy is great. The art direction and music are expressive and energetic. The gameplay is fun, and the rogue like elements make it feel like new every time. I cant wait to see what else Eldritch Climb and Covert Wonders have in store for us.

I had some problems with the controllers, but the game just started, hope they improve on those things. Apart from that I had a good time and I really enjoyed the art and music.
I liked it A LOT. The art, the music, and the story it keeps hidden beneath the surface. And that’s saying something, It has areas where it can improve, but then you remember -it’s still in Early Access. Why am I climbing? Who am I? And what do I have to do with this story? The controls are simple, but a little tricky to really get the hang of at first. I love how modular/procedural each level or climbing run is—it has tons of replay value, whether you want to uncover the story or unlock the hidden parts of each BIOME. The items you get feel like solid upgrades, and there’s a bit of Souls vibe: if you lose, you lose them, and that’s where the challenge lives. At first I thought it’d be rough having to restart every time from the very first “mountain,” but once you meet the NPC who creates portals after the last Boss you defeated, your whole approach to the game shifts. I really like how you have to farm the points you collect—the more you gather, the darker and more somber the game’s aura becomes. Then you trade them in to uncover the...the....THING...returning to the normal "run". If you’re into indie games that challenge you, with music that pulls you in and an origin story waiting to be uncovered, this game is for you. ✨ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Me gustó BASTANTE.
