Alright, so I checked Recommend this game even though I was not overly impressed by it (In fact, for the first 40 minutes I was incredibly frustrated by it *Right Click To Use A Key*). Let me explain why. Right off the bat they tell you: Hey, this was what two dudes managed to put together in a month. We're trying to learn and improve. That's also one of the reasons I picked this up. Gotta give some love to indie creators. It's pretty enough. (Well, what you can actually see is...) The lighting leaves A LOT to be desired, but I quickly found a way to work around the flashlight that contains the Sun (Periphery is key here my friends). Some rooms were really well lit and looked fantastic. Others, especially those with flickering lights, made my screen wack out so I just used the flashlight. There isn't much in the way of a story. Now, most of it is told by letters and such, so MAYBE I just missed it. I'll go back another time to see if I missed anything. It does remind me of Layers of Fear, which I love <3 It totally ripped off the room changes from that game, but it did so in a way that I can appreciate. It starts off rather slow, but It does get more exciting as it progresses. But, the creepy feel was there. Give it the points for that. It definitely has room for improvement. It needs a settings options for sure. But, for the price, it's a cute little haunted house that's worth touring. I'd love to see fixes made and this expanded to something a little more substantial. I feel like it has the foundation to be something closer to Layers of Fear.

I truly appreciate the reviews stating to right click the doors because I was losing my mind and want to add that one should look for an out of place book if they're stuck. You'll know it when you see it. I wish there had been a menu or literally anything to explain how to play the game. I also wish that there were graphical settings and brightness settings for the game itself and that buggered flashlight. Those things took away from my overall appreciation of the game. I think they're fairly fixable and it'd be worth considering doing so just to make this game more player friendly. The game itself was pretty good! I enjoyed the Layers of Fear vibes and a lot of the scenery was really interesting to look at. I don't really understand all of the story but that could possibly be due to the fact that the flashlight blinded the notes and pictures and I didn't realize I could hit "E" and see them in a more visible format until I was towards the end of the game. Oops. For the most part the game provided an interesting. although frustrating at times, experience and I recommend it so long as really blinding lights don't bother you. I got this very, very cheap and honestly wouldn't have minded paying a few bucks for it. You guys did a pretty good job overall- I'm interested to see what else you might turn out!
Eight minutes are enough to realize, that this game is annoying. First i missed a graphic option menu, only "start game", "exit game". Really ? After that i noticed the unoptimzed performance as well as the same evironments as in games like Pacify or The walking Evil, many players know which areas i mean. I let my character run around for a few minutes and closed the game. Not worth any attention or money.
