EFO is a side scrolling platformer, wherein you control an alien who has crash landed, and must reach the top of the mountain in order to call for a ride home before the battery on your distress beacon runs out. The climb is difficult, but you have the power of telekinesis!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
EFO - Escape from Outerworld is another student project from Digipen, a university in Washington that teaches computer gaming classes. Did the students pass? I don't know this time around. This student project is a 2D side scrolling puzzle platformer with one gimmick, you can move blocks around to create temporary platforms that you can jump on. Moving blocks around is needed to progress through the platformer levels. Usually the Digipen games at least have some reasonable graphics, but they're a bit phoned in here, with a somewhat mismatched/jarring art style. The protagonist is a clean, cartoony image of some cute alien bug thing, fine. Some of the backgrounds are roughly close in style and look to the main character, others are a kind of messy retro pixel style that jars against the other game assets. Gameplay is equally unsatisfying as the jumping is way too floaty, your visibility of the level is beneath how far you can reasonably jump, which means to some extent you're playing blind... that's not okay for a platformer. The technical implementation is below acceptable standards, with locked resolution and controls, so there's no way for the end user to try adjust or configure the game to improve the deficiencies in the visuals and the control handling. Overall at best this is a D- for those students. This isn't even good for a Digipen game.

Was really laggy
This game it's a pretty straight forward platformer with a few interesting mechanics used to make the level design more interesting while having some nice visuals. There are some elements that need to be polished as you can see some texture errors on the background, sometimes the character can get "glitched" with the platforms, etc. ,but in general it's a short and enjoyable game. Here you have some footage of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLPZrIa92z0
Nice cute little platformer :-)
Limited options. Floaty and unresponsive controls. Repetitive game-play loop of 'the platforms are too far apart, bring a block with you'. Clicking the blocks to move them only works a third of the time. I clipped through a wall and had blocks clip through walls.
