Echo Generation: Midnight Edition

Toda una sorpresa. Un RPG sencillo pero divertido, con una dirección artística muy, muy chula.

super fun shorter RPG game. Does have some supernatural/horror elements if you're into that. Nice comedy and easy skills to learn!

I wasn't really convinced at first because the stats gained by leveling didn't seem that satisfiying (even because farming exp was terrible for a long part of the game) against enemies up until the second major boss [spoiler](the one in the dump)[/spoiler], but then it's clear that the stats were very balanced to have interesting fights (even if it's a bit of pain at the start to farm until you've decent stats to be able to consistently resist bosses and have decent damages). Yes, some bosses may feel easier than others even if they are subsequent, either for tactics and/or hp, but the majority of the fight were very satisfying, but all where visually stunning and mechanically impressive, even for the strange atmosphere [spoiler](the Wendigo and the giant Worm fights were incredible)[/spoiler]. Visually and exploration wise is a fantastic gem, above all when any boss or major enemy emerge, it shows impressive creativity of design, be they completely original or a reference to monsters from cult movies but with a very original design of their own, some of them honestly looks more terryfing than the one they reference. And also it might not be the hardest turn based rpg, but it surely delivers an interesting and fun challenge, and for sure you can never let your guard down
