This game is completely unplayable, and makes me want to grab the gun in my closet and put one right through my temple. The fact that EA still exists as a company is sickening, I cannot even launch this game without it crashing. Yes I have the proper specs. I shouldn't have to manually go in and delete CryptBase.dll every time I want this game to launch. Tbh I'm really mad at myself, for giving this a chance. ♥♥♥♥ EA, and ♥♥♥♥ their monopoly.
the game is poorly made, and you'll need mods to make it not suck. OL frequently just don't block. Your team will line up in the totally wrong formation at least a quarter of the time, so you have to wait for them to realign when you try to snap the ball. Members of the crowd are perma bugged to have black hats on for some reason. WRs will get stuck on defenders and kill the whole play (this is never a penalty). Recruiting is hilarious, some players seem to just be hard coded to want to attend certain schools so nothing you put into them can win them over. I have never seen a verbal commit flip, when they commit elsewhere it is nearly every time they hard commit the following week even if they ere visiting my school. Oh yea and playing style which seems poorly defined will hard lock you out of plenty of players during recruiting. Leveling up your coach is tedious even on the fastest setting, and the in between classes are so expensive they don't seem worth pursuing. This is obviously intentional, but is hilariously bad from a player experience standpoint. Oh also you want to just play Offense? You can't tell your DC to focus on man or zone, so you have to make a custom playbook if you strongly prefer either and don't want your defense to suck. This is a feature that existed in NCAA14 iirc, so not including it is pathetic. The automation is lousy too. They auto generate little blurbs for each week and often the one after a game will just be wrong. For example "Georgia Tech puts up 346 yards and 5 TDs in 42-3 loss." after a game they won by that score. Or the Heisman blurb will talk about 0 passing yards for a HB. Also on the Heisman the tab specifically for it along with the cutscene for it can disagree on the winner. It also seems to be impossible to win the coach of the year award. Win multiple national titles and run a top notch program and you still don't even make the 15 or so names they rank for it.
the game is unfinished the pass blocking is really bad the ai is not good for road to glory and i personally think i should be able to control my players i am throwing the ball or running it even it my character because makes bad choices when i run the ball or pass so many times for free first downs and touchdowns in the end ea is greedy company that rushes there dev to make the worst slop imaginable i had fun with 25/26 and i was excited for it to come t pc cause thats all i have and they ruined everything in the game
love it great polish to college football
