Duskbound

My friend who I play Counter Strike with said if I post a review on Duskbound it gets 20 likes and 20 Awards that he will buy me a RTX 4060. So im just gonna leave this here. Help me bro

The game is wonderfull, The art is very cute and dynamic in its animation. Its so wonderfull for a first game I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend !!

I wouldn't exactly give the game a negative review, but I wouldn't recommend it either, so it's somewhere in the middle. I was drawn by the cute artstyle and by the summary, and since the game is free I decided to give it a try. The font is terrible to read, it's not the first time I struggled with a similar issue but usually games have an option to toggle the font into something simpler, so I considered just dropping the game, but I was really interested, so I tried to ignore it. The story itself is good, even if a bit abrupt and rushed. There's no buildup at all, and while I do understand why, it still makes the game too fast-paced to fully enjoy. The plot is vague, most points lead to absolutely nowhere (i.e. the mention of "him", the whole situation with the villagers and even the cause of the curse are left open), and I expected more from the true ending, maybe some detailed explanation or more lore. I really enjoyed the artstyle, the premise, and the soundtrack, and I'm sure a lot of work went behind the game, so I'd definitely play other games by the devs, but I was left a bit disappointed by Duskbound.

Cute little free game. Bit short but very fun. I recommend giving this game a try and the art style sound and even the story are all fun and entertaining!

Great story with a beautiful art style. Short and sweet (well, depending on the ending lol). Loved it! I'd be fine with him corrupting me :)
